Is there anyway you could run some tests on Armor Hindrances Okram?

I would really like to see if they are "Must have game needed balances". I'm willing to bet they aren't, if each one is kept on a separate experimentation bar.

I believe the demand for armor will go way down. Currently people chew up armor by tanking high level creatures. Everything in this cu is so level based anyone fighting a creature over their level will be taking a trip to the cloner with or without armor. If you want to fight higher level creatures than yourself you must group to artificially raise your level thus reducing the damage you take. TKA's are the best tanks and they can't wear armor. I think the only necessary place for armor will be in pvp.

Are those figures based on pvp or pve if they are pvp based you need to test out pve aswell.

Thanks for the tests! Glad to see levels in PvP aren't too big a difference.

It looks like those are all PvP stats, but I totally agree. We need to test the effectiveness of armour in PvE. While many seem to trust the people saying '1 level difference makes armour useless!', I'd personally like to see some hard numbers.

after a brief run through with pve it looks like the same percentages hold true in pve as well as pvp.

not up to writing up a huge post bout it, since the numbers where nearly identicle. However I can later if you really want one.

Shouldnt be necessary so long as they look the same. However did it hold true to the level differences?

did you also test to see what the damage taken was with out armor

it says in the combat log how much you would get without armor, then says how much the armor blocked.

And I will look into the level changes, but level differences or not, armor blocks same % of damage. If armor blocks 10% damage, wether you get for 10 points or a 10,000 it blocks 10%

I would be very curious to see these numbers vs a TKA or even TKM now that skills wil be on frogs soon. Sounds like a project for me over the weekend. I have 2 comps and accounts so I will be able to get some solid test time in once the frogs are updated. I'll post the results here.
