If I ever get my hand on 12 experimentation pts I will be able to get them 2/2/2 1% 6% and ham will actually be lower so that triple layered will be somehting like :
6/6/6 +5% base +19% kinetic...
On Intrepid with 12 experiment pointsmy Kinetic layers are 1/1/1 HAM 7% Kinetic 2% Base
I grind for amazing successes ONLY, then factory run those
Grrr no edit.
Both my heat and energy layers are 1/1/1 2% base with 10 experimentation pts...
Valcyn just doesn't have the resources yet to make 1/1/1 kinetic ( but we are very very close, 1/1/1 is ham experimented to 88% and we can experiment to 87%....)
Hate to break it to ya Ail, But i had 1/1/1 2% base5% kinetic layers back in september on Valcyn.
Ran outta the gems to make it though. They were from the first or second shift on Valcyn. That'll teach you for relying on SWGCraft for your material information.
On the topic of SWGCraft, If I hadn't told NoHup about Ime, Iteos would still be the best resource listed on SWGcraft, guess you owe me for that too.
advanced ubese only accepts 1 layer.
I do not know padded or mabari but triple layer is something you do with composite..
k my kinetic layers were 2 6%s and 1 5%, making my segments 17% and i wound up with only like 58% kinetic. what did i do wrong?
Also, the base was only 45%......
Need a bit of guidance
Using some good platinite copper as the metal component ive gotten mine to be about:
2% base, 2/2/2 enc, 4% kinetic.
Making a suit with this stuff would come out with rock bottom HAM but the resists would look like:
74%elec, 77% kinetic, 61% base
My currentlayers are4% base, 4% kinetic, 8/8/8 HAM. Final stats are in the link in my sig. For whatever reason, no one on Shadowfire seems to care about HAM costs. I'm getting outsold by 'smiths who charge more credits for 1-2% more base with 20-30% more HAM.
I've about given upon putting any effort into keeping theHAM costs down. My next layers are going to be max experimentation on base, and if anything's left I'll put it into the HAM.

I second that, no one on shadowfire cares anymore, all they care about is 63% over 62%even if it means another 70/70/70 or so ham on a set. But then again I never make layered composite other than helm/chest/pants.
