I use 30%+ krayt segements to make some sweet composite armor i use for my Armorsmith to wear when out finding spots to lay harvestors. I can wear a full suit of composite with 45k condition and nice bases with NO buffs. I now got orders for two more sets like it as crafters dont want to waste time with buffs when surveying, etc.

But I find anyting less that 30% really isn't worth it at this point, maybe i will try again after armor/combat rebalance happens.
