Thread: Getting into Armorsmith hard?

Mastering armorsmith was a snap for me...I got novice tailor to make the cloth components, then spent about 300k on heavy harvestors, was scout at the time, so I was perfectly self-sufficient to make mabari chest plates (and that's the only thing I made to get master). I started right when the sologroup nerf happened, so I thought I would be ok at 50k credits because I'd easily get a million with the next janta mission hunt...but that kinda crushed me. I has master for a few months but I dropped it due to no skill points, pursuing Jedi, and not having the patience to pursue 950 SR and OQ resources.

Guess I'm not a crafter at heart...

Well Last year januarie I started collecting resourse for AS was one of the mayor docs ad the time .... It took me 7 months to get the best resourses for composite and ubese, after I buyed finaly some tapes

and started 12pt producion in august yes long time to collecting.... I was producing ad the same lvl as the top smiths but I spended nearly 300mil on gatering resourses

after 2 months I finaly masterd the amazing succes experiments and I make the best of the server (FS experiment is needed for the best)

now Im the leading AS for 5 months now sales have stabilized ad 60mil a week producing with 39 Armorfactorys and 5 generals

I can tell 60mil a week is nice but when your running to a lot of credits in your pocket what is the driving force to go on just swg adicted maiby

Getting to the TOP is all about resourses only a 12pt suit isn't it I see many suits go hand to hand and people who buy them ask me every time if I can sell them resourses..... Of course I have a lot over 120mil units but but can't I sell to every one have to say no every time because of the amounts of requests

1- Resourses is the prime dificulty
2- 12pt suit
3- Have a positive amount of resoures and factorys avilible to keep your vendors stockt
4- FS experiment / assembly for making the best if you got the first 2

sales location helps a lot when you get started

Finding a good Niche in the market is the key to being successful.

I have found a lot of BH's like Padded Armor for looks, no one really makes it. The stats don't matter , therefore, I can use crappy resources and just make Nice Looking Garb. This really blends well with my master tailor aspect.

I know i can't compete with the big dogs, but i will go where they wont

Hi all.

I have thought a little about becoming an Armorsmith.

But,

1. is it hard?
2. is a lot of factory time required?
3. is it near possible for a non-master/new master to sell midquality armor?
4. does it depend on a lot of looted components? If yes, is these the "only" ones that sell?

1. It's not easy.

2. Yes.

3. Non-master armor is a tough sell. You might be able to find a niche though amongst the lesser armors. Relatively easy to sell armor as a new master IF you have the resources.

4. No, not at all. Loot is rarely used in armor.
