Thread: Is the Woolamander dropping like crazy? (YES,ALL RIS DROPS ARE)??WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT??

i killed about 30 GDKs in3 days, then this morning i found a spawn and proceeded to milk it and i got 11 scales 
best thing is, i already have 4 pieces, so i get to make mad bank from selling the rest, or make a few guildies very happy 
i have noticed woolamander is up very high. it used to be about 1/6 woolamanders would drop bones, now it seems like 5/6.
GDK are still fairly rare, and i've noticed a decrease in interwoven ris schems also, but an increase in hide

Well....everything is dropping more and more....wollamander/GDK...and gurkskings drop alot normaly.....but what now does everyone think about it????
Good=everyone can get their RIS
Bad=prices will drop, those who made alot on these drops will not make so much...
What do u think???
and also is this a bug? is this dropping like it is intended????
Please post ideas about the new subject, it is confirmed that the RIS segments are dropping LIKE CRAZY!!!!! what now is your opinion about it?????

I would say it is working like intended. I base this on what the developers have done in the past with other "rare" items:
Tusken mask in... tusken mask out(then back in.)
Armor: nightsister_bicep_r (hehe) in... nightsister_bicep_r out.
Bounty hunter armor in... bounty hunter armor out.
Jantas dropping lots of crystals... Jantas not dropping lots of crystals.
Krayts not dropping lots of pearls... Krayts dropping lots of pearls.
Obviously they like to flux the drop tables every couple of patches so that it creates some sort of rare economy. I guess. I don't know what they are doing anymore. I'm like still trying to figure out the stomach fill change. I just eat and drink and macro the GDK now. No risk of death from 99.5% of all creatures what-so-ever. Why mess with the stomach fill when the CU(RB) is coming? Hmm... mysterious the developers are. I still think they're using a Magic 8-Ball to resolve the serious questions...
Lead Developer: Should we change something for Jedi and faction turrets this patch?
Magic 8-Ball: The answer is definately yes.
Lead Developer: Is this a good thing to do for the smuggler revamp?

Hum so replying to what you said about things coming in and out....we should prob stock up while we can because this will again go out of style....

Me and a friend killed about 15 GDKs yesterday and got 9 scales. That was enough for my suit, so I got that made today and threw it in my PA hall. Before that some friends killed about 15 or so and got nothing.

13 GDKs so far and no scales
looks like the drop madness didnt hit Lok

Oh it did! over the past 2 days I've killed 6 GDK. The last of these was just b4 the server went down yesterday, and it dropped 10 GDK scales! Also that kimo was at the kimo town POI, and I'd been told that GDKsthere didn't dropGDK scales. The drop rate aint as huge as the woolamanders but it's an improvement! Also about half of the reclusive gurk kings I've killed have dropped hides.

I killed 10 GDKs on Friday, and got two drops - 8 and 10 - of scales.

as an armorsmith, this is a sad day. In an economy that is loot driven (unfortunately), I would hope our dev's would make it a priority to make sure this didn't happen. (I'm also referring to nyax and krayts, ns).
