Well according to the notes that were released on the 29th of March they were planning to revamp the whole of the armor system even though specific crafting revamps weren't in the scope of the CU so should have really expectedthem to shat on it really, you create a system with no player input, you get a system no player likes (Refering to the mechanics of the AS crafting system).

I'm not sure AS will change in a "crafting revamp" (Is there actually one on the books?).
To do a Combat Revamp and not take Armour into its scope is so stupid even a 5 yr old could pick up on the idoicy of it.
I hate to think this but I'm starting to beleive that what we see is what we are getting for a long time. To finish the CURB and then try to complete change armour later would completely undermind the CURB.

You'd think a game that SURVIVED by having a player base of the age 18+ (Or other credit card avaliable ages) would have developers who couldaccept the fact that they do not know everything and that the chance of some of the players being more educated, and better at the job, than they are would be reasonably high.
I mean for gods sake, I'm 20 and I apparently know more about customer relations and usabilitythan they do.

Well a little good news. Our complaints to SOE over the devs has been heard to an extent. The SOE community relations officer responded to my friends email. We now are to send him a complete list of why we think the swg game is gonna fail and what is wrong with the CU. I will be trying to take a short list from everything posted here to attach to his email that he will be sending in. Lets just hope this isnt a smoke screen and he actually listens. And yes we will be discussing what happened here in the forums along the lines of communication or lack there of.

Well there is a good post here from a crafters point of view which is a well thought out post but got deleted for some reason but its reposted that has alot of the long term issues of the effect of this patch and obviously the issues Okaram has outlined in his various posts are also good to use as basis why from our point of view this patch is well under par
