Since the 'fix' of the Glove/Bracer issue, the only clothing wooks can wear with armor are Belts. Belts can't hold BE tissue and PSG's take the spot of belts when worn.
As they can also wear backpacks with armor, I would assume they could wear bandoliers with armor. But preferring my backpack with ranged mods AND storage space I've not had reason nor desire to test this out.
Slight HAM bonus balanced by extreme deficiencies in many other aspects of the game. I love my wookiee!!!

I went in the TC and being a Ranger/MCH it would only let me use the black mountain armor. Now why is it that one of my tags can say that im a hunter ....but i cant wear hunter armor....so its looking like im rerolling after the cu. Unless theres a good reason why i am going to be wearing the samuri worrior looking armor "black mountain" and not the hunter armor. I think that just plain silly...it just doent lok right.

Hunting Armor is now classified as Assault Armor and can only be worn by Squad Leaders, Bounty Hunters, andCommandos
Black Mountain Armor is now classified as Battle Armor and can be worn by Carbineer, Creature Handler, Combat Medic, Fencer, Doctor, Swordsman, Pikeman, Ranger
Ceremonial Armor is now Recon Armor and can be worn by Bio Engineer, Pistoleer, Rifleman, Smuggler
And TKA and Jedi get innate armor

Amip, the armor is basically being done like BE's creature making. There is a core set of requirements (schematic or recipe) necessary for a certain classification of armor, meaning: one set for Recon Armor, another for Battle Armor and a third set for Assualt Armor. After those requirments are met the Armor Smith (AS) then puts a "skin" on the armor which has no effect on the armor at all except looks. Unfortunately when it comes to Wookiees, and I also believe this is true of Ithorians, there is only one "skin" available, and only Wookiees get this skin. I know it does make sense in Wookiees' cases, because if it is identical to any other set of armor and the only difference is "skin" then why can't Wookiees get any armor "skin". I don't have a good answer to that question.
In the past each armor type (i.e. composite, bone, chithin) had it's own specific requirements and were totally different then the others. Thus Wookiees had to have their own specific armor sets because they could not wear any of the others. But now with this new revamp in essence there isn't any Wookiee armor, unless they specifically in the case of Wookiee armor and possibly Ithorian armor kept their specific requirements and then made their own decisions on where each kind of Wookiee armor belonged. You might want to check this last part out. But if it is not a different schematic or recipe then why you can't wear say bone armor if you wanted to is beyond me, since it is only a "Skin".
Hope this was helpful.

Ya, I was disapointed that I couldn't get hunter armor as well. And If I ad to choose between the other 2, I'd rater have the cermomial. I just fon't like the look of black mountain. But since my only certd are for battle armor, black mountain it will be. I still find it off that only Bh's, commandos and SL's get assault... seems strange to me...
