Random spwan on Yavin and danth I think.
Never saw one, so can't tell how hard they are.
One of the tactics I've heard of is go to Yavin, find a nice spot and clean all the lair around, giving some room to let them spawn.

is the BH armour more effective than comp armour? I just wanted a full set just because it looks cool.

My suit , the highest resists are 30%. They do go up to 90% but these are very rare. Like you i just wanted it cos it looks cool and it was something to do hehe.

what does a full set sell for? say around 20-50% is there anything else they drop?

Full sets have been going for upwards of 4 mill on ahazi , depending on resists.
The ones on yavin4 sometimes drop containers and stuff but nothing nice other than the armour and a jetpack base.

well i dont wanna waste 10k on buffs, easte some brandy only to run around for 3 hours killing things for xp i no longer need if they dont drop anything...why would the devs have them stop dropping loot?

I'm sure it's not intentional. Don't forget loot tables have been changed some in this last patch. The loot kit items have been added and the crystal drop rate has been upped. Probably some line of code got overlooked or something.

Just wondering how much a full set of BH armour goes for? any ideas?

Depends on your server, and the quality of the BH armor
I've seen BH armor with worse stats than base mabari, and I've seen BH armor with 90% resists and uber skill mods.
I've some pieces sell for 20 mil each, however I was able to pick up a few I needed for 150K each.
Although I will say the last piece I bought cost me more than every other part I had to buy combined.
I have a full suit and I won't part with mine for less than 250,000,000
(yes, that's 1/4 of one billion credits)
I'd say to take a few friends out and camp Yavin 4 for Black Sun mobs.
Sometimes you can find them on endor as well.

On starsider a whole suit sells for about 10-12 million. The drop rate seems to have been nerfed however, so maybe that will go up. I don't know.

I was able to piece mine together for 2.6 mil, my friends got a set for 3 mil a while ago and 4 mil recently.
This is on Tempest - my guild (Bounty Hunters Guild) currently has 6 full suits of BH armor, even though two of the owners are planning to quit the guild, but we expect the suits to stay in the guild. I expect the price to raise to about 10 mil due to the nerfed loots, but I got my suit after it was nerfed.

Endor Black Sun Mobs dont drop BH Armour sadly...only whats in the DWB....ie DE 10 Schematic/Barrel
