Actually no Armor 1 for Players wouldn't do anything because players are naturally vunerable to all types of attacks. So since vunerable types ignore the armor type (effectively becoming AR0) our net result is we get a nice AR1 printed some where if we are lucky and still get hit for the same amount of dmg.

just so you know, wookiee armor is (or will be) cannon as soon as the next film is out and since that takes place before the current game time line. their is no reason it shouldn't be craftable.
