See now what the hell is the "special slot"
Ugh why cant someone include these things in the "list of what is required in RIS" lol
They always list the resources, but then add in stuff like "Oh thats for the special slot" and its like WELL WHY DIDNT YOU SAY SO

Actually for a suit and the quest you would need 11 each of the Woolamander Bone and the Gurk King Hide (use up 2 in quest), and 10 Giant Dune Kimo scales, plus an Peko Peko Albatross feather and the resources to make a RIS layer.

hello all, I was just wondering how often the killomonglas, woolamanders, peko pekos and gurk kings actually drop those things, and what the price would be if i baught them, also what planets they are all located on. i also need to know where to get the RIS schamatic, i heard it was free somewhere. i just got novice armorsmith, but im already questing to find these items.

Giant Dune Kimos - Very rare spawn, very low drop rate - expect less than 1 in 100 to drop them. Price it typically in the millions (they have been swapped for multiple krayt pearls, which tend to retail at 4 milion or so each.) These spawn on Lok. Note that Kimo scales are NOT the same thing... they need to be GIANT DUNE kimo scales.
Woolamander harrower bone fragment - from the woolmanader temple on Yavin (see POI tab) Usually very camped. Not sure on the drop rate, but assuming about average of 1 in 100, then these arent too bad as they spawn in a known place... of course that does encourage camping.
Giant Peko Peko Feather - the easiest drop to get. Giant Pekos spawn randomly across naboo, but its a common drop on them (some people say every one has one, but i'd guess its more 1 in 10) Problem is they're 100% kinetic resistant, so you cant tank them with a TKA, and the usual method of taking them down (flame dot stakcing) was removed with the dot stack changes.
Gurk King Hide - You need to randomly go around lok to find natural spawning gurk lairs. The last spawn in some of these will be a gurk king. Supposedly these are pretty common once you can get one (1 in 10 or so)

cool ty, so the hardest will be the giant dune kimo, i thaught so but iv seen dragon pearls selling for 1mill on my galaxy (flurry) though ive never even come close to having 1mill creds. i plan on hunting for all this stuff
also what are the prices for the recorces needed to make a ris helmet

o yeah, anyone know how i can make some fast creds to fund my quest?
i only have about 200k right now and see no way other than countless missions to get creds.
im maser marksman, going for novice camando soon

harvest resources (both mined and creature) and sell.... best profit to time ratio in the game.

anyone know where i can get the RISscamatic, other than the old man on dant
i dont want to invest in a full suit just yet, im only making the helm and leggings first

you can only get it from dantooine, and you can only do the mission if youre a master armoursmith.
