My AS is a smuggler as well, i only sell rebel armor but it is relativly easy to obtain schematics since i do not have to go out and earn faction not to mention that i can pre slice my own armor. Its a great combo i think.

You need posts? Just get on your Galaxy forum, start a new thread calling some 1337 pwns-u uber haXx0rZ a non-factor, citing as evidence how many times you db'd him in Bestine or the MO last week. If you can, steal a link to someone else's fraps ... all the arguing about who is or isn't getting owned should be worth twice the opportunities for posts without it. Follow up with nonsense responses for the next 12 hours ... try insulting people's sigs or guilds or how they put their guilds in their sigs. That should be worth 20 or so posts ... you win the forums! WooT! ;P

LOL!I have no idea what it is that you suggested that i tell someone, but I know the type of players you are refering to. I tend to skip over any posts by people who type like that because it is, at least in my opinion, pretty lame. But that aside... by repying you gave me an excuse to type back, and thus one post closer to 50

Forgot one thing. There is a serious BUG with general inspiration buffs wrt faction points. Gaining faction thru delegation or the old fashioned way, it works just fine -- +10%. HOWEVER ... try to spend those fp on some perks while still buffed, and you will pay a +10% additional charge!
Three solutions:
(1) Wait until your general inspiration buff expires.
(2) Go get an armorsmith buff, and the general buff should get overwritten (haven't tried it)
(3) Drop off all your valuables at home. Clone on the same planet where the transaction will take place. Have the faction delegated to you. Have the person who delegated the faction, or a trusted, caring friend, kill you. Poof! Buff's gone. No item decay, Clone at the pre-designated facility (or get rezzed) and no black rot.
One thing. If you do buy faction from a smuggler and ask the smuggler to kill you, expect him or her to charge you for services rendered.

I have three characters one of which is Master Smuggler (Colonel). I have her for two reasons, first Faction Points cost me a fraction in terms of credits and time making my armor less expensive to sell. I don't shift sides, I'm a reb and could never stomach being imperial even for an hour.
Second I will continue to hope that someday I will actually get to SMUGGLE something. (yeah yeah 'nother board)
