I've killed 25 of them so far. (1 at Kimo Town and 24 around the volcano.) I've yet to loot a single scale. If you've got area track, try to team up with a Jedi who is looking for an Enraged Kimo for his Knight Trials. I did that yesterday and it worked out great. I promised to let the Jedi know if I found any Enraged Kimos on my area track, and if either of us came across any GDKs we'd team up together to take down the spawn. I'm Master Swordsman/Master Doc, which means it normally takes me about7 minutes to take down one GDK, however with the help of a Jedi, we were dropping the GDKs in under a minute each. This is because of the GDK's lightsaber vulnerability. Pretty much the only thing I had to do as a swordsman was tank and do some intimidates. The amount of overall damage I was able to contribute was tiny compared to what the Jedi was able to do. The only time we had to take a break is when he had to regenerate his force, however that didn't happen too often cause he didn't have to waste any of his force healing himself since I wastanking. Also, while looking for GDK spawns Ilike to keepan eye open for Gurk lairs. There's a lot of them around the volcano and there's no harm in taking a break for a few moments to try and pick up some Gurk hides.

many people seem to think that kimo city doesnt drop scales, however i looted my sclae from there, the place was always dead as no-one thought it could be looted from here so i decided to make a day ov it. well day turned into night and it took me 36hrs non stop ov constantly killing it getting my bf sorted and getting back 1 hr 10mins later. i was dieing to get to sleep but the thought ov someguy comming along and looting a scale while i had spent the day there, was horrible. note prior to that day id killed over 40 GDK at least, most were at kimo city but some around the imperial base and also the volcano.

can anyone confirm that the gdk at kimo city doesnt drop a scale ? I read that somewhere that he hasnt dropped a scale in months sometime after a patch.
