I was always for Harvester Certification. I think there should be a Miner Profession that gets access to the Mediums and Heavies and that everyone else with Novice Artisan can use Personals. Or, maybe put Personal Cert in the Surveying branch.

Also, let me add that I don't have any Survey skills, nor would I become a Miner if they added the profession. I just think that it's unfair to let everyone operate heavy machines without any crafting skills at all...

Of course if it stayed the same I wouldn't complain since I get to keep harvesting all my goodies for next to nothing, but it's still unbalanced.

artisans are annoying for this. I mean they already got an awsome item to craft in the form of speeders. They also provide tons of sub components at master artisan to different crafters. Power conditioners, etc.

Personally I think that they can make too much for being a starting profession. With master marksman or master brawler alone it is far harder to make money doing missions than it is to do a factory run of components and sell em to an architect, or to make one speeder. With master marksman I beleive the best mission you can get is worth about 1.4k unless your buffed and on dant. or something. But an artisan could sell one speeder for 25k, with one night's resourse gathering and make 25k. Anyways I think they waste too much time on that profession. Focus on the real professions, not the stepping stones.

I think it's 'three,' not 'tons.' Maybe they added more, but Master Artisan is kinda useless... With Engineering IV and Domestics IV that gives me 11 Experimentation points (I'm human). At Master you get the schems for some useless items, three subcomponents you can't use, and vehicles (which everyone only needs to buy 1-3 of unless they're careless). That's besides the point though since I think that a Miner profession should get Mediums and Heavies, NOT artisans. They're a basic profession and they should invest skill points if they want to play with the big boys.

Instead of needing the "Miner" profession to get certs for harvestors, they should receive bonuses to harvesting, surveying, sampling. I also, think the "Miner" and Merchant skills should be combined.
