Yeah, I am working on making a whole suit right now. I just need to figure what I need for my AS friend. I have heard of 80% energy.

well non geo enhanced bone armour can hit an impressive 40% vs energy 6% vs kinetic (yes kinetic), so i eagerly await these results (and yes if you wear any bone you tend to get peoepl laughing, esp if your out hunting crittes who do kinetic dam, its amasing how many socalled (mostly self called) uber players know next to nothing about the very things they dismiss as useless (the reaosnm i like using bone sometiems is it cna protect vs the 2 most common dam types an is very very light in comparison to other armours (tantels another one i like when i cna get it) you dont need composite all the time(padded is jsut as good in pve) and most armour types have a use evne fr combta elites, why wreck a 300k suit of composite whne a really well crafted suit of bone does the smae job for 1/10th of the price?


oh and i wont bother saying what i sued to get kinetic onto the bone, if you're followin this thread you sohuld be able to wkr it out easily

Dont, its a waste.. You can make lighter chiten that would be better than enhanced Geo-bon. To me honestly is one of the 2 choices i listed And for me.. Its 2 energy with krayt, or NS i guess last would be a voritor, but they drop in low numbers soo you wont get many segs... if you use NS you are looking at a 80% energy with practically Zero ham.. and a PSG to add to it. Its a very specific suit of armor but one of the best in the game.. for the right situation.

If i wanted 40 energy30 kinwhich is what using 2 kin layers would end up at...I would use energy layer ubese and end up with less ham than the geo bone. My 350 hamenergy ubese is 60% energy 30 kin.. thats 50 ham higher than the geo bone with 20% more energy+ other reisist.. If i matched the stats to the bone for energy and kinmy ubese would be lighter. Another option is chiten I would end up with 2 times the durra, and about the same encumberance I make 300 ham chitin with 25 base, 65 kin or 50 kin 40 base.. Both these armors are much better choices than Geo bone, for the way it will come out.

Green cubes are a total waste as well. Number one reason.. White are much more common, they drop in higher amounts, and you can get um for free from tons of people. My freind just gave me 2 sets of 7, and ive had people give me tons.. I get soo many i only keep sets of6+ You make a schem, and end up with 5-8 segs = 5-8 peices.. Soo thats atleast double what a good amount of green cubes would be. The slight durra you gain is completly lost in the fact that you could be making 4-5 suits off one schem i(its 5 uses) instead of 10-12 peices

Red cubes would be the only other one i would think of, but the ham savings is not super low and a nice slice would out-wieght it using whites. And you would have 3-4 times the amount of trys to get a good slice.

Im acually making a new suit of Geo-one to replace mine, its about shot.. Ill post the stats when i get it done., Ill post some screeines too : )

Btw im a master armor,, since launch and make lots of weird stuff.. soo trust me when i say i know what im takling about when it comes to making armor. I have a character on that server : ) my rodian BH.. well he is such anoob but still, he wants to be a BH /wink or ya can hop on over to radiant, id be happy to show you some stuff..

I'm getting the schematics for 25k, people destroy them on Tempest so why not get schematic? Sometimes scales and cubes cost a lil' bit but I'm a noob so I get them for a free!

I fear bone armor might be on its way out, if it is, then I hope they replace it with something equal or better for us. As bone armor is one of my MAIN sellers. I sell around 50 to 75 parts a week, which nets me around 20-30K a week.

I sell all types, Voritor, Rancor, Kinmogila, and Krayt each with the high stats ranging from 38-51% main stat protection.


As for JeCy, man i can't see how you can be an artisan and in the breath trash the profession?? Saying bone armor is crap is a slap in the face for our class as it is one of the many item we craft, IMO, that makes our profession a fun experience and nets us a steady profit.

besides, with the current armor ratings.. bone armor withsay 47% kin. protection is just as good as comp. or ubese of the same '%". this is clearly stated in the armor fourms and old DEV chats.

When the CURB comes into play, yes, this will change, but then at that time.. STARTER armor will be a MUCH needed item...


As for selling what you deem "Million dollar" items for cheap.... nothing makes me happier to see... as that means people are starting to take a stand aganist the HIGH price economy that is killing most servers.

On my server we are starting to see new loot items pop up for 2-6k on public bazzars... also Krayt pearls are even comeing down in price selling for around 500k now, a huge drop from the 5 mil average price prior.


Now if we can only get the so called "Miners" to get on board by dropping their prices

anyway, thats my rant....
