Thread: What the deal? Nothing but Composite Armor!

#1) Chitin armor, Ubese armor, Padded armor. They all cost the armorsmith as much or more to make (in terms of costand time) then composite. But nobody is willing to spend as much for them. So armorsmiths are left with the dillema of making tons of money, or not making tons of money.

#2) 80% kinetic comp with low hams is better hunting armor then ubese, better resists, much higher condition, the ham's are almost as low, and that npc who starts shooting at you won't do massive amounts of damage through crappy 16% base with tons of vulnerabilities. I make ubese, some of the best on bria, and I sell it for as much as a lot of armorsmiths sell comp for (low end comp anyways ). But I use low ham encumberance sliced 80% kinetic comp myself. Ubese armor is either armor for noob smiths with crappy resources to make, or niche market kineticarmor for very high end low ham armor.

I stock tons of ubese. And it is a huge seller. I also only charge 100k a full suit and I have to do 100-suit runs of it every week or two.

My ubese generally has about 20k condition each piece, which is more than half of what composite generally has. So long as you are fighting kinetic mobs, 76% vs 80% isn't that much difference in how much damage the armor takes or in how much damage you take for that matter. At a 200k price difference, I can see why folks would want the ubese.

And if your guild likes to go hunt NS occasionally...well just keep your compo in your backpack and your problem is solved.

Pilgrim is right. But I'm going to make decent padded and charge more for it than for compo. If people don't want to buy it...well...the compo is right there. They don't have to.

Well, here is something for you:

I am currently grinding up AS.

As soon as I am done, I am going to be offering an "Everything BUT Composite" shop. In such I am going to be dedicating myself to making all armors other than composite the absolute best they can be, and work towards greater development and understanding of said armors.

Just an FYI.

If you are on radiant and wish to support this effort, feel free to swing by my loot shop at -315 -5595 S of Coronet and pick something up. I will be using the cash for materials to make armor.

sheesh how rude and ignorant!

Ubese: Less condition, at most 70 somethign kinetic ressit, crappy base but less enc

Composite: 2/3x the condition of ubese, 80kin,80 eled, 75 energy, 65 base soooo much better than the best ubese, but high enc

I allreayd have my stun pvp armor, why i carry around another set of ubese thats only usefull varey rarely?
