You get no added bonuses or specials from BH using rifle.I have a friend currently building MRifle BH tree. He seems to love it and keeps a little medic for PvE. I feel the constant need to tinker also, but if you're happy with your template there's no need to change just for the sake of change.
I would think the distance thing would be a good thing. I mean, I certainly do not want to be within 32 meters and get knocked down with saber throw. And nobody can maintain the range of 40 meters or so to stay outside that 32 meter range, and still stay within a good effective carbine range. Well, unless your pretty darn good...lol. Anyways, I rather enjoy staying at 60 meters and just sending bolts down range. As far as specials, yea, it does not give me anything extra for being a Riflemen BH. Although, the riflemen specials are pretty decent in themselves. There is no ranged KD, but the posture change and dizzy accomplishes the same thing.
I think I am staying riflemen for sure. Fits my playstyle more and my concept of a BH more. The question remains though, should I drop my Medic skills and go MBH? And if so, other than specials, what benefits would that give me?

Rifle, in my opinion, gives at least one good ability. That happens to be sniper shot. With the short incap timers that could mean quite a lot. Not to mention it will allow you to deathblow them in some very hairy situations.

Well, it would work fine if that blasted weapon-switch timer were never introduced...
Ah, and you wanted to know about LLC's
Check this one out, it's my pride and joy:
2.0 speed LLC w/ Anti-Decay Kit
Oh, BTW that was right after I put the kit on it, I think the kit automatically repaired it to 100% condition by the next day.

These may have been already answered, but I have searched quite a few posts and the FAQ and not found a satisfactory answer.
Right now, I am MRiflemen, Medic 4440, BH 3000. I know it is not the greatest template, being ranged and weak against MLS. But for those non-MLS'ers, the Riflemen puts out a good deal of damage. My question is, with the current state of things, and the CURB being anywhere from 3 to 6 months away, is there ANY benefit to giving up Medic and going MRifles/MBH? From what I am seeing, currently the MBH has no advantage in killing any MLS template, and really has no advantage to killing non-MLS templates. There is that really nice LLC thing though, from what I am reading it really is not good except for either an AFKer or a finishing shot.
Second question, is I have seen a lot of talk about pistoleer vs carbines, but nothing really on riflemen. As I see it, the BH template should be an offensive template, as when it comes down too it, you are attacking by suprise and trying to do the most damage you can in as short of a period as you can. So is Riflemen a good partner to BH as opposed to the states effect of Carbines, or the defensive aspect of pistols? In my opinion the DPS and pure power of the Riflemen should make it dominate against non-MLS templates. But then, I am NOT the most experianced in pvp, and really a noob when it comes to hunting Jedi, which is why I am asking these questions :-)

If I were you I'd get Invest 4 for the faster updates, but thats it. If you like rifleman I don't think you need anything else especialy LLC. I don't think it matters what you use when you hunt as long as you enjoy it, so give rifleman as go, change if you think you can do better.

Why are LLC's not any good for pvp? That one looks like it is pretty fast with a 2.o speed.?

Can't delete posts.
LLC isn't generaly good for pvp because it is not accurate enough, it can never be focused to a HAM bar and specials can only be used within 16m of the target, although with an ADK you could spam overcharge2 nicely from 64m.

First up, could someone take a look at this screeny and tell me what type of armour that NPC is wearing on the arms?
Second, how low is it possible to get Hindrance values, if they are the only thing that matters? I had read that Hindrance is directly tied into how high the resists are, so would it be possible to get it down to say, sub-15% if it was really crappy armour? Im trying to put together something I can RP in, but I only have minimal mitigations for recon armour and the arms are Tantel.

No idea what that armor is, and yes no problem to go below 15%, even 5% is np.

Not a very clear shot, but its the same shoulders I think, the bracers are probably the same.
