Well that and after reading the Armorsmith forums there seems to be a new bug with publish 18. Can't drop faction armor in a house or pick it up etc.....

I dropped my clone armour in my house just last night. Maybe you can't drop it after you bio link it? At work atm so can't test it.

that's ANY item that can be bio-linked.
faction armor, clone armor, chiss backpack, ROTW "uber" weapons.

You'd need to be Carbineer to wear battle armor/clone armor.

Whoever was holding clone armor in their inventory or in their houseat the time of Pub 18 is now the ONLY person who can pick it up, drop it or use the armor (pending certification). If you do hold the armor you can NOT trade it, sell it or drop it in anyone ELSES home, vendor, factory, droid, etc. etc.
Publish 18 did a major NERF to all factional and Linkable armor. The armor did NOT have to be already BIO-LINKED for this effect to occur. I now have a 100% crafter non-combat alt who is holding my clone armor for me inHER house. Post- Pub18 she cannot trade it to me, sell it to me, drop it inMY house, give it to me in a droid or any other method of transfer known. Only thing its good for now is decoration since my alt cannot wear it anyway.

R u telling me that i can't sell my clone armour when i get it or the clone carbine or my kashyyyk blade stick
thats not fair cos i have no use for them and at the end of the day i like story driven quests.
i say they should change it so u can trade or drop it in your house and sell it at a later date otherwise it takes up unwanted space.

well like they have just mentioned it sounds like a bug which means that when the devs have looked at it and "fixed" it you should be able to do all that again

Well fortunately it sounds like it is now being treated as a "bug" and has been included on theTigg's list for Pub 18 bug fixes. So hang on to that armor for now. Perhaps all is not lost.

I hope it is a bug, I don't plan on using my armor much and want it to be decoration in my house.

I would never gone on that mission to get a a clone armor and not be able to wear it. Are there any other Missions out there for MBH/MP to go to get clone armor that I would be able to wear....?????

None that anyone knows of, because as was said before at the beginning of this thread, Katarn (Clone) Armor is BATTLE armor. Use that token respec todrop the pistol and pick up the carbine, or sell the stuff for an obscene amount of credits and buy a set of shock trooper armor from am imp AS. Or, go to Yavin IV and kill every Black Sun NPC you can find until you have a full set of Crafted Bounty Hunter Armor. CBHA is, btw, assault armorwith the worst protection rating in the universe, most first day novice armorsmiths can make better stuff, but if you want to look different it's the way to go for sure.

Yea you'd need assault, and could also wear recon if you wanted to with pistoleer.

grr now i have to wait - i have no use for the armour as my house will be fully design when i get the right stuff - roleplay i don't use any kind of armour - which a bummer but what needs to be done needs to be done.
