lot swaps are evil
I would only recommend swapping harvesters
Your trusted freind on another server might have a little brother, a guildmate or someone else that has access to his account, or his own mean streak.
Nothing like loading up 45 suits of comp to log on and find them missing. SOE will do nothing if someone takes something from their own property. I had 90% of my AS resources in a house (from lot swap) and logged on one day to find myself off admin and the house empty (about 50-80mill estimated loss). SOE did nothing.
get guildmates/freinds or just make do

Well in my case, and I know I'ts an exception. I had a pile of money to invest in AS from my initial 60 million in Ship sales when JTL came out, as well as a sucessful ongoing architect buisness. I was able to pretty much get some of the best resources for comp armor right off the bat, and am almost to 12 points and I haven't made 1 suit of armor yet. I also have some good connections with established AS on my server and they were able to hook me up. What I'm making now, is about the norm on my server. So large factory support in my case is necessary....

At this moment I have 10 factories up. But, I am a big provider of Wookiee armor (which I make by hand, easier than comp by hand) and run the segs and such. I also only do 4 pc suits.

I have him by the balls too, we swapped factories. I dont store resources in any house I dont own PERSONALLY. (and have 2 million in maint)
if 45 suits did go poof, oh well, i have enough materials to make 5000 suits of composite. (more if I pull out the junk hides). I trust my lot swapper... no problems in 5 months and he even moved the harvs for me once.

Okay i play ultra- / -ultra on eclipse , if you dont have a toon on eclipse you use i could use like 3 lots for some factories to free up spots on my jedi for more harvestors. Just starting armorsmith
