Thread: A little question to R.I.S. crafters
but Its still not making a profit if you calculate what it cost to do
I'm with ya on this one skinny. I can tell you as a WS that my time alone is worth more to me than the 50k just to explain the basic simple options that most users should know but never seem to. I do sometimes make cheap weapons if they bring the loot but I don't often give them the full explinations and options either, I simply make it the way my experiences have taught me is best and that 90% of the customer base uses/requests. If they are spending significantly more with me(usually in the millions) then I have no problem sitting there and explaining to them all the pros and cons of the available options for them.

presonally my time is worth more than that, and customers are not just paying for my resources, they are paying for my assembly bonus, my extra experimentation points, my knowledge and yes.....my time

if you are able to craft it in 5 minutes, then you are not using food on assembly and port on the experimentation. Your stomach will be full after a few crafts.
Your customers will be advertising a "lesser" RIS, and people may see your RIS, but its stats are not going to be the best

umm crates of ris? why would the armorsmith have to make every peice by hand instead of having the peices premade and just assemble with loot or whatever
armorsmiths make every peice of RIS by hand because to schem it would eat an expensive GDK scale and it isn't so easy to get matching high end NS layers, etc

he was talking about 9 peices in 5 minutes (59k x 9)
9 peices takes more than 5 minutes if you craft with crafting foods (personally if I am using a 2mill GDK scale I am going to want to wait for my stomach to clear so I can eat more assembly food, rather than risk a failed assembly)
