I am getting reports that it works but at say 22%, its almost not worth it. Any savings is good against a jedi but you see what I mean. The guy I gave a piece to gave me some of his combat log and indeed he seems to have been able to resist as high as 15 points damage when dueling a jedi. I know it isn't much but it seems to be doing something.

In terms of it being an exploit or mistake? Still waiting for someone to say the word here. I know what you wrote MrChow, and its not that I dispute you specifically, but I have seen this many times since I started playing. Everyone has a view and they have it for a reason, thats why I say I will only accept a DEVs ruling or someone I know to be in that group of extremely knowledgeable individuals who hang with the DEVs in testing or whatever. This is also not to say you aren't one of those ppl MrChow, you may be but I don't know that No offense intended.

Anyone else who might dive into this, here is my reasoning. If Tantel is broken or it was a mistake to make it LS resist, it could have been fixed long before now and ppl like me wouldn't be asking questions like this. If its an exploit, see above. In both these cases I cannot accept that Tantel is evil and an exploit because no one has bothered to fix it, remove the LS resist, or take it out of the game altogether. I know there are priorities, don't get me wrong, but this issue has to have some up before, from several different views.

I also expected this might come up and will suffice for now as an answer, for now. I figured this had made the rounds before.

I will be testing later today when a friend gets in just to make sure on the actual resist.

wat i think is if we havent gotten comfirmation from a DEV or CSR on a topic of "legal or not" than its ok and they dont care......yet
