the first line is dodge, which = more defense: so pick this up last
the second line is accuracy- pick this up second if not first
the third line is techniques- some pretty cool attacks, but don't use any of them until fanshot lol (use healthshot1 for most of your grinding)
pick up the last line as you can since it takes combat xp and the other three takes pistol xp
hope this helps

If you are just a pistoleer and have no BH...
go 0/4/0/x (combat xp for the last box)
then go 0/4/4/x (as above)
use health shot 2 until you get stopping shot and fan shot
go 0/4/0/x (combat xp for the last box)
then go 0/4/4/x (as above)
use health shot 2 until you get stopping shot and fan shot

Which one is it? HS 1 or 2?

do techniques first..
i stack (they do stack) health shot 1 & 2 with a macro:
healthshot1;
healthshot2;
if you are also a bounty hunter with pistol specialization I, add bleeding shot to this macro. I start combat with this macro and usually hit it two or three times. Once you get stopping shot, techniques III, finish them off with it when the target health is almost gone, otherwise use bodyshot2 or normal attack.

healthshot2 is MUCH slower until you get some decent speed, check out the damage calculators and put in your pistol stats and current character speed and see which one is faster for you
ps. ticks steal xp, so it's a bad idea to stack bleeds when fighting
damage calculators:

i can't find my link to the other one right now, but that'sa ton of help right there

Screw that noise...
Level to Fan Shot and then you will farm XP like mad!
I ran up the Fan Shot tree first and now I'm blasting 7-8-9 mobs at once... just Kite and fire away!
I can drop lair in half the time when buffed.
I stand and shoot the lair until I get a few on me then run and gun, no worries. Run back and forth in a straight line to hit as many as I can inside the cone each time. I get crazy XP.

Heya, I just hit novice rifleman and immediatley went 0003 since I had combat xp capped beforehand. I'm wondering now whether I should go 400x or 004x. Keep in mind have about +11 rifle speed and +10 accuracy in tapes, a speed sliced T21, and a 876 max damage (non-decay =D ) DXR6.
Thank ya!
Thank ya!

I hate you, go up speed/accuracy and fill in blanks, I hate you.
No one will sell me speed AAs.

It depends. Check the FAQ to find the two most recommended methods.
