*agreed* it would've been cool to keep with the publish themes to give us a new schematic to go with....like a "Corellian Corevette" outfit or something...lol
Sorry, that's a loot item. No, really. Rebellion shirt with a cool embroidered-looking insignia on it—I imagine there's one for Imperials as well. That's right ladies and gents, new clothing and we don't get to make it. Fun, huh?

As far as i'm aware this has been discused many times.
Everybody wants variation in armor and everybody is tired of the clone army.
I have recently made 2 unique Padded Armor suits for a couple of guys who just wanted something different to be seen in.
Personally, I want them to remove the 'color swap' feature of comp.
I really enjoyed selecting the colors on the padded and with the removal of the bug, comp would once again become 'slightly' original.
Armorsmiths would have to think before churning out 200 cloned suits and players would become picky about the color in the search for originality.
Devs, please remove the color swap bug on Comp and add a few more colored areas to it.

Frankly, as a consumer, I like having the color option on my armor. It keeps me from having to track down an armorsmith just to get the color I want. It makes it easier on us and on you guys since you don't get bothered my a million special requests.

I say go the other way around, allow coloring of all armor. If need be with a new color kit, but I'd prefer it to be permanent then unlike the droid and vehicle kits. But heck, anything would be better than nothing.

I would love to be able to craft more variation into my armor, I must admit I kind of like the idea of a color customisation kit.
But that would kill dead any custom armor orders, which I find fun to do. I like to work with my customer, to get what they want.
