I understand, the original intention of DEV team was 6 sets per server max.

You get it by being the BH correspondent for a time frame, just Ask Wepps he is about to his set. (only the first 6 correspondents will get it also)

Hmm, 6 sets per server. Unless you have duped resources or credits you can forget about ever owning one.

The only way that kind of system will work is if the armor will only drop off of a mark (very rare), spawned from a Master Bounty Hunter. And only be wearable by a Master Bounty Hunter.

MBH's with pieces of the set would have to duel each otherto complete a set if they did not get a full set from drops as it should be lootable by another MBH after a deathblow given at the end of a Duel. If you want a full set, you need to prove that you deserve to own it by risking your piece and winning.

In the EU, Boba Fett loses his set to the Sarlacc. Then goes and kills Jodo Kast for another set.

There's one incentive to become a Master Bounty Hunter.

you can also see the stats of the armour on the fette in jabas palace theme park..

it has all nice resists and all.. like 45 on most and 90 on some.. BUT ive seen unsliced composit armour 80% resist to ALL stats.. so the current mand armour ingame is inferior to player made stuff at its best..im agine efeectiveness slices 80% composit armour.. get it up near 100.. never have to use specials.. just normal shot and laugh at the 1 to 10 damage your taken from others..

Someone do us a favor and post the history of Mandalorian Armor, and why you can't get it and then STICKY it. Tired of seeing these threads.

Mandalorean Armor was the suit worn by the Super Commandos, the last known suit being Jango Fett's who survived the Jedi assault on them.

Turned over to his son, obviously.

6 suits is way too many, but the rarity of it is justified.

Honestly I am sick of this discussion myself...

I have been on this forum for about 3 years now (one of the originals from swg forums..."SaiyanJedi") and all it ever comes to is pure speculation.

I think that the mandalorian armor should be for master bounty hunters. They did the grind, they should get the armor. In EVERY other MMORPG there is an armor reward for recieving master status. For example in Dark Ages of Camelot you get an "Epic Armor Set" after hitting lvl 50, and its a different set for each class.

It is very frustrating for me and I think a lot of other people with all the cool things being rediculously rare. Ok I mean being force sensitive is one thing, but makeing it almost impossible for bounty's to get the mandalorian armor is rediculous. Everyone should have a chance. It should not come down to a special 6 or 12 or whatever is speculated right now that get to flaunt to the whole server that they have it.

MMORPG's are for someone that wants to live there life online to a certain extent, and play themselves in what they vision. I think that if mandalorian armor is part of there vision and they do the grind to recieve master bounty status that they should be able to live there vision...

Nuff said...

Wrong Wepps Jodo Kast owned a set of Mandalorian Armor, which was taken by Fett once he killed him. This was long after Fett got outta the Scarlacc.

Yeah you're right, that was the Great Sith War, some 4,000 years earlier.

What? When that suit of Mandalorian was found? Thats way back when Exar Kun was still alive.

Jodo Kast was a bounty hunter (not a good one at that)that somehow (dunno how) found a suit of mandalorian and went down the "impersonation alley".

Wrong **edit**in' alley

Fett killed him foracting likehim and then Fett got yet another suit of mandalorian.

I feel like such a star wars loser.. /cry

Here it is from starwars.com:

Fett dresses in fearsome armor of Mandalorian design. The battle-scarred suit's design heritage can be traced back 4,000 years, when clans of Mandalores fought against the Jedi during the Great Sith War.

The mandalorians were a race of warriors with exceptional scouting and fighting abilities. They had tracking skills that rivaled the race known as the Gand (Zuckkuss from The Empire Strikes Back). Unfortunately their demise is not known, but it is legend that they were completely whiped out by the sith.

Hope this helps!

So more than likely it is not Madalorian armor, but a replica of the armor made by a weaponsmith.
