ever since i started wearing armor, i survive a lot longer in combat. Wookie armor protects against the most common damage types. So, yeah, i think its worth it.

Get the current Wookiee Ceremonial Armor... Look for something that has a good Kinetic, and good base and a reasonable price... Its keeps my hide alive for a lot longer than it used too..

If this is for PvE you are best off trying to find a set of Kashyyykian with as high kinetic as possible with the remainder of the armoursmiths experimentation spent into condition. Just one point spent can either increase the base with a few meager % that won't really matter anyway, or it can increase the condition by around 1k. Which provides your armour with a longer lifespan and keeps your wallet healthy, unless of coarse you are hit with a non-kinetic damagetype.

for pikeman yes, rifleman no
a rifleman can use conceal shot and other stuff to keep the critters at bay and pick em off before they get to you, just use some brandy and you will be fine.
for the pikeman part, yes definately get some

i get my guild mates to supply me with janta hide, rancor hide and krayt scales.
yeah rancor hide may not be much but it raies the base and plugs the heat and cold holes.
and you can find 4% krayt scales all day long fairley cheap. drop those in there and all holes except stun are now plugged.
generally my guys take their krayt armor into pvp b/c atleast then all possible holes are plugged.
combine the kashyyykian with a nice 40%ish PSG and we can come close to staying alive for 2 minutes vs 30 seconds in PVP.

The Ceremonial armour has definitely helped me in both PvE and PvP. Mine was a custom set made with some great Krayt scales but even so, combine any ordinary 50% kinetic/22% base set with a PSG (preferrably effictiveness sliced... mine is at 62% effectiveness) and you will notice the difference in combat.

Armor padding is in field wear 3 of tailor. The padding requires:
any hide- 15 units
wooly hide- 10 units
fiberplast- 5 units

Alot of the resources are gated, so don't expect to get 900+ on all the stuff. Something that looks bad might actually be good.
And yes, Ahazi has some nice Tat wooly right now it seems.

Just curious about what armor wookies can wear. I know of the hunting, black mounitan, and cerimonal armors, but i also found out that i can wear the clone armor as well. So im curious as to what else i can wear faction armor maybe? BH armor? anyone know?
