no worries aurelius there is little or no way to fake a jetpack unless its in deed form...the odds of it being a fake are much better with it in deed form since deeds can be crafted and renamed...once generated the jetpack is simply called "a jetpack" and looks like one as well....one way to be sure its real if you would like is to make sure that you have three vehicles in your datapad...

if you try to complete the trade and it wont let you...then its real...

tell the seller "My bad i already have three vehicles...one sec..."

after that just delete a swoop or one of the three vehicles that u dont care about and go though with the trade...there is absolutely no way to rename a vehicle after its already been generated...so as long as it says jetpack and u confirm its a vehicle in this way then your safe

and also if it helps i led the group the night your seller made his jetpack...so i know for sure he has a legitamate pack to sell
