I can sell you sell you a set if you are on Bloodfin. It looks like Bone armor, wears like Bone armor, and it will cost you 1000000000 for entire set, and it also causes me to go LD when the trade is completed (**edit** bugs), but trust me its Mandolorian.

If it does exist in the game it should only be wearable on Master BH. Now there's an argument to go Master and it keeps the other professions from looking the part w/o putting in the work.

I've heard it bantered about many a time tha only master BH should be able to wear mandalorian... Why?It istrue that the only 2 sets of mandalorian armor we have seen in the movies are both worn by BH's, however, not all mandalorians were BHs. And anyway, I can equip a Rocket Launcher and change my title to Engineer to look the part of a Commando. Or I can keep the enginner title and equip a LLC to look the part of a BH. Mandalorian armor should be rare, but not restricted to class.

I agree with the idea of having Mandalorian Armor available at Master Bounty Hunter. It could be a certification (like weapons) you get at Master Bounty Hunter. Then you are able to purchase a set if it becomes a craftable item, or maybe they would have a series of missions or quests that you have to complete to get the set. They could be similar to what you have to do to get Marauder armor, but the quests only become available to Master Bounty Hunters. Something like that.

Whatever or whoever the Mandalorians were before the Fetts used their armor in Star Wars, doesn't really matter. In the Star Wars Universe the only place we see Mandalorian Armor is on a couple of the most famous Bounty Hunters in the Galaxy. Please correct me if I am wrong on this, but that is the only place I remember seeing some. IMHO that means that in order to wear it you should have to earn your way to MBH. That would eliminate one of the complaints I heard in another post... something about not wanting the whole population to be running around dressed as Boba Fett.

If you had said the only place in the movies we see Mandalorian armor is on the Fetts, I would at least agree with the statement, if not the argument it was trying to support. However, when applied to the Star Wars Universe as a whole, the statement is incorrect. There are othre instances within the plethora of Star Wars material that show Mandalorian armor, most important of which is actuallyon Mandalorians.

Since there were far more Mandalorians than Fetts, and the Mandalorians wearing the armor were, without exception, soldiers, wouldn't it make more sense to have it be a Commando only armor? Commandos are the soldiers, after all.

But, no, that doesn't work. Any pc with enough faction points to join one side or the other can technically wearthe factionarmor, be they Bounty Hunter or Novice Entertainer (all it takes is 200 fp and a friend with two sets of armor). And we only ever saw Stormtroopers wearing Stormtrooper armor...

My point is that posts like this suggesting Mandalorian armor be BH only are absurd. Someone else suggested that the reasoning was because people didn't want to see a million Boba Fett clones running around, which has nothing to do with who can wear Mandalorian armor. First, the player version of the armor will most likely look like the version on the BH trainer, which has onlythe faintestresemblence to Boba Fett's. Second, the number of people running around with it on will be controlled by the extreme rarity of the armor itself. Both take care of the issue of a million folks running around in it.

If you think BH pr is a nightmare now, imagine what it would be like if this were a BH only perk. The Armorsmiths are going to be pissed off enough as it is, this would just give the devs one more reason to listen to all those chants of 'nerf...nerf...nerf...nerf...'.

Yeah, I heard about the boots being found near the end of beta, yet no one will say what the stats were on them. The Devs have said that mandalorian armor would be as rare as jedi. (who knows if they meant as rare as unlocking an fs slot or an actual jedi, but thats another matter) But the Devs have also said they wanted craftable items to be the best in the game, so I dunno how mandalorian armor would fit into that since it should be basically the best armor. And finally the devs said that they didnt want people camping. If the armor was dropped by a certain thing, wouldnt you think we would have bhs all over that area waiting? So of course it is said the armor is in the game (although they also said you can unlock jedi now and luke is in the game, so we never know ) but we just dont know where it is, if only that person who had the boots would tell us, haha.

I think that mandalorian armor should be wearable by all classes... that way we arent technically "singling out" the BH profession. But the armor isnt very effective for them. At novice BH, the armor becomes fairly good, and at master BH, the armor is best for that class. A few other professions MIGHT be applied to this as well, such as commando, and maybe the marksman elites (pistoleer, carbineer, and rifleman). and maybe, just maybe, it would also be decent for melee-types, (the mandalorian armor was worn by many soldiers of all types; the two bounty hunters (or 3 if you count jodo cast or whatever) only made them POPULAR).
