Thread: So I'd like your opinion
And by fix, I don't mean what you do to your dog or cat.
Armor decay = pretty damn high
solution: make hq repair kits actually work like they were high quality, and repair armor well. Also make the armor repair skill tapes work.
Factory colors = borked
yeah just fix it.
Experimentation still too simplified, and we're not hearing that it's going to change.

As an armorsmith already affected heavily by the CU...even though it would be extra income I'd hate to think I'd get even more tells and mails then I already do
But that would be alleviated of course by your statement of more active armorsmiths hehe

I have seen this on the Jedi forums and seems to envoke good discussion from the community. Resulting in us venting in a positive way and giving yourself a way to put our concerns to the Devs in one thread.

These things would sell great if the worked, we need a hotfix bad
-armor is not unique, too many smiths are already hitting the caps (i.e. 7k energy unlayered recon), the only real difference is the skins
-people already getting too close to upper end cap (8200? kin/energy), high end armors are not much different, especially with resource kits
-overall lack of enhancements (I already have my +350 health suit, now what)
- could fix this by adding +action/mind enhancements
- add core enhancements (+action/health regeneration maybe)
- remove +50 cap to health bonus
- add recon segment/core loot drops
- make lootable segments/cores actually usable (preCU acklay hides and krayt segs had really high condition and good resists, it is all crap now)
- allow gloves/boots to take a segment (optional) so that they can be enhanced
- allow RIS segments to take segment enhancer (that allows it to go above cap) to make RIS a more desireable armor, do something similar to Mandalorian (allow it to go above +50 cap, or add bonuses)
-need more to experiment on, make the 12 points actually worth something (one bar resists, one condition?)
-add sockets back to gloves/boots
