Thread: Wookie Armor?
If you count ewok hides made into primitive waist wraps, head gear, gloves, and well other acoutrements, then um..I guess. Honestly though, there isn't any armor for wookies. The closest you'll get to is an overglorified piece of worn out hide called battle padding. Well, and wookie traveller helms, etc. The only benefit these give you follow:
- You don't have to listen to other players making rude comments about your endowment
- You don't have to worry about those pesky lice getting out of your hair and ruining your emergency supply of protein snacks
- You get the abiility to add useless one point stat enhancers to socketed clothing that may or may not work (so far they do work but who knows)
- And well, you can look so much more the wookie with a two-strap bandolier.

Oh what's that? you're fighting a cl70 mob that has armor rating 2, meaning if you don't have a higher armor piercing value you do less damage, and you have no armor rating so the mob is pretty much using you for a napkin? Well look over there, John Doe Novice_Bounty_Hunter10000001 is wearing elite composite armor and he's only getting hit in the teens...don't you wish you were him? Sorry, just had to have some humor this morning.

The only "armor" that Wookiees can currently use are the personal shield generators. I've also heard rumors of armor variants that Wookiees can use, but I've seen nothing from the developers to confirm this.
We can always hope (for a larger customer base)...

i keep hearing these rumours about there be coming armor for us wookies

No we're screwed armor-wise, and who knows whether the rumors are true or not.
i don't agree...
sure we heal up faster, but the armor REALLY makes u stronger than us...
