Thread: Anyone ever play with Janta hides?

This stuff is great. Looted a bunch while look for janta blood. Not sure how good they get, but the ones I found boost the base on a segment by 3%


That's 3% added onto what you normally get on the segment.

I've played with some 5% janta hides before. Not sure how much higher they can get..

Does it change the resists to special? - ie un-sliceable?

yeah they just add 3% over the normal base that you can make. i was playing around with some resources the other day and came out with this.

78% electric
70% base
21/8/259 encumberance

comp helm

i used 3% janta hide
3% ns layer
2 - 3% base -4/-4/-4 R.I.S. Layer

Nope. Just adds 3% or more to the base of your segments.

I normally get 67% base and these made it 71%. (High for Shawdowfire)


Jantas drop so much crap, but their good stuff is defenatly good.

I made a helm with some 3% Janta Hides. It was 71% base I got it slced to 87% Base, too bad I know it couldve hit 90% easy.

Where do you go to get them? I looked one time and we killed a few but got nothing. I think we went to a cave or something.

I've cleared the caves multiple times and have never got a drop. Then I did the cave yesterday and walked out with 9.


Jantas have a real low drop rate for these things. You can get them in missions, but it's the upper lvl ones and you would need a large group of high lvl pets.


Well worth it. Have to try and not get discouragedcause they will drop a lot of crap.

How do you like your Pikeman? I'm planning on mastering Carbineer now, but I've also thought about swordsman too...

Love pikeman. Really hard starting off though.


Lucky i'm a master doc too. Nice to give myself good buffs.

5% is the highest ones I've seen. Heard a rumor of 8% ones once, but the person could never provide proof.

i was offerd 7% ones,dont know if its true,got 5% when i cleared the caves awhile back

i've got another question: if i've got 4 of them with the same S/Ni'll need one for the schematic, so i only can make 3 segements of that kind. Am I right?
