Thread: Patch 26: Armor upgrades (the armorsmith upgrade) v26.2
- mabari belts, ubese bandoliers and ubese shirts can now be crafted with sockets
- added the padded belt schematic
- added the ability for padded belts to be crafted with sockets
- factional armor schematics can now be purchased as 1,10 or 100 use schematics for appropriate ammount of faction points
- added core enhancers (see Friday feature)
- removed gravatronic fiberplast as requirment for primus layers, bringing in the resource requirement more in line with other layers
- removed caps on unlayered armors
- removed cap on armor layers
- all armors now have full color palate when crafting at master AS
- added armor repair skill modifiers throughout armorsmith skill trees
- added ability to place customizable emblems/logos on armor. will be used in armor appearance enhancement slot during crafting
GCW
- significantly increased the FP cost for imperial armors for all alien armorsmiths
- removed ability for alien species to equip any imperial armors
- reduced the fp costs for rebel armors for all species
- rebel: new schematic available from faction recruiters: armbands
- imperial: new schematic available from faction recruiters: shoulderpeice
- factional rank can now be displayed on shoulder peices and armbands
- added an elite armor quest for recon armor."Armor Upgrade: Secrets of Mustafar" Must be master armorsmith to accept quests.
- Marauders now have a chance to drop marauder armor schematics by using the /steal command
- added the "Armor Upgrade: Secrets of Kashyyyk" series of quests. Must be wookiee to start quests
- added the "Armor Upgrade: Secrets of Endor" series of quests. Must be Ithorian to start quests.
Crafting
- fixed an issue where armors pulled from factory crates lost their original color
- fixed an issue when experimenting on condition on armor segments and armor cores did not increase the condition of the final product.
- reduced complexity of armor segments, cores and psgs
- fixed an issue when experimenting on armor segments would not display proper stats
Loot
- added biomechanical cartridges to the loot tables (see Friday feature)
World
- added effects to the planet Mustafarr that deal 100% heat damage. Increased effectiveness of heat layers
Misc.
- fixed an issue where adding a feathered appearance enhancer did not change the appearance of the armor
- fixed an issue where adding an acklay appearance enhancer did not change the appearance of the armor
- fixed an issue where armor repair skill modifiers did not increase the ability to successfully repair armor
- if you would have recieved 1xp for killing a factionally alligned NPC, you can only recieve 1 faction point for killing that NPC

Making Elite armor Elite: How to make R.I.S., Mandalorian and Elite Recon armor Elite and keep balance
One suggestion: you didn't quite catch the, er, um, attitude of that skanky RIS-quest hermit ... should be more along the lines of:
"Wah? Oh! It's YOU. I thought you left. Made any Mabari Belts lately? I doubt they could hold up a Kunga's waistwrap anyway ... so I guess you want me to teach you MORE stuff you don't have the wits to figure out on your own, eh?"
... or maybe I'm remembering him too fondly....

I really want to see those GCW changes added. Would love to see all human/zab imps verses all the aliens

what is this Trando Imperials get no love
already cost me 31k for full set of schematics ..... and for the only stocking Factional armor smith on the server WHY Rebels have on every server contol on the planets.... so Imperial schematics already cost more now make the difference between armor even greater
