I hit master a couple weeks ago and thought i would make some ubese so i gathered the rescources and made a batch of about 50 sets of 73% ubese. the cost for a full set was 150k. i afked spammed in the starports and posted on forums but no sales not even 1 in the past week. i thought 73% was pretty good for my first batch or is it the price thats 2 high. what do u guys think the problem is?

Are you using a permanent vendor? If not, I'd suggest getting one. You might also want to advertise on your Galaxy's trade board.

150k is very low for a full suit of 73% ubese. I sell about 20 suits of 72-74% a week at 350-400k a suit. If I were to price it at 150k, I wouldn't be able to supply a tenth of the demand. Although you can't generally compare prices across servers, I'd say that 150k would definitely be on the low end for any server.

Holy cow, Jaato ...

And they say that BLOODFIN is overpriced???

Top-end high-kinetic Ubese is in the 75-77% range(or 80%, if you do some "special modifications" like me ) These suits will run between 170 - 250K, if my memory serves.

Personally, I sell 75-6% at 170K for a full suit. Stock doesn't fly off the shelves by any means, since the market is fairly well saturated. If the original poster wants to break into the Bloodfin Ubese market, he's going to have to reduce his price pretty radically, since I generally see the lower-end 70-74% kinetic stuff going for 80-95K.

Not something against you personally but most afk spammers are quickly put on ignor lists. I'd try the planet map advertising with a vender that has something like "high quality ubese" in it. If people want armor, they usually look there.

heh.. it seems were getting a raw deal on eclipse

75k for a suit of ubese (around 68-70% base, weve had some bad spawns of neutronium and axidite)

Ill admit, ive not tested the water above that price, but its what pretty much all the armoursmiths charge (some go as high as 100k)

The thought of 250-400k per suit of ubese would be heavenly

It seems we pay out as much (or more) as other servers for our materials, but we get a whole lot less return for our cash.

and back on topic....

Dont spam... its been said already of course, but its rude and people just tend to ignore it. If you are going to spam, at least be there to answer your customers questions, its only polite - in other words put some work in other than running a macro.

Advertise on your galaxy trade forums, etc, as has already been mentioned, and by far the easiest one for fast returns:

Sell in bulk to merchants for resale, or get yourself placed into a fairly decent trafic mall. Even if youre charging next to nothing for suits, if your vendor is situated in the back door of nowhere you wont get much trade as people are lazy in general - if they have to travel for more than 1.5km or so from a starport, they need to know that they only need to make 1 trip to get everything they need, as 15 1.5km trips suddenly adds up to a lot of wasted time.

75k is what i sell my 60 -70% ubese set for on Kauri. Why does everyone try and make a fast Buck By over pricing?

73% ubese is damn good. You must be overpriced, or someone is making better at a cheaper price.

Well, it could have something to do with the fact that there are only a handful of arch-master armorsmiths on Flurry. It might also have something to do with the fact that there hasn't been a spawn of neutronium steel in about two months, and there hasn't been a decent spawn in three...

A good suit of ubese on Flurry is roughly equal in cost to a good suit of composite. The difference is that the ubese (or mine, at least) runs around 290/340/390 HAM unsliced while the good suit of composite would be around 150 HAM more. I don't understand why people buy it at those prices, all I know is that it sells like hotcakes.

With regard to overpricing, I price at what the market will bear. A run of a hundred suits will last me roughly a month at those prices. Given that it takes about a week to put together a run of ubese, and a couple hours' worth of time, I don't want to be in a position where I'm constantly making ubese and don't have time to make other types of armor, hunt, etc. That and I'm almost out of neutronium steel

Just goes to show that you can never really compare armor across servers

I sell my 74% ubese at 100k.

I know others AS sell it at a higher price of Valcyn but I still make a profit and it is a good entry product to attract customers in the shop( sadly I will have to stop soon I am gonna be out of good axidite and refuses to produce subpar products)....

I sell 40 to 50 suits/week at that price...

Triple layered composite is where I make the rl profit...

woah that's just crazy. i price my 74% ubese suits at 200k a piece. they don't tend to last more than a day or two. im one of the few armorsmiths on corbantis that can hit 74% ubese. guess that's good enough reason to sell at that price
