Thread: And there was much rejoicing...
At least we will get to play with them a few days and trust me if anything comes out better than post patch ( as I expect it), so many schematics will be made than nothing else will ever be produced ....
nerf you say? how would a nerf make it possible to make *better* armor than possible now?
and that was documented by our correspondent. /shrug

Great! But.. does this mean we keep our critical failure rates?
they just posted that the crit fail changes will stay in, check out the tc update notes.
HIGH RESIST KINETIC GLOVES:
Current System: Base Resists: 60% Kinetic 80% HAM 67.63.70
With the new system it would look like this:
New System: Base Resists 60% Kinetic 80% HAM 116.112.119
Okay, how about LOW HAM GLOVES?
Current System: Base Resists 51% Kinetic 67% HAM 44.42.46
With the new crafting system it would look like this:
New System: Base Resists 21% Kinetic 37% HAM 44.42.46
This isn't a joke. These stats aren't plucked out of the air. This is hard solid experimented items.
What kind of resources was this guy (gal?) using? Those 'current system' stats suck as I make by far better ones now.
69Elec 80Kinetic 60base 40's hams
Low resist? I make these stats:
64E 73K 57base hams in the lower 30's
all before slicing. I can tell you numbers like above and have you believe whatever I wish. But I know the posted gloves were made with very average materials. Some test.

There were also documents spread about armor made with only slightly higher resists but nearly double-HAM. Experimenting on one-line leaves out any possiblity of variablitity in armor.
