Thread: Feathered appearance and those peko peko feathers

Can someone confirm if the feathered appearance enhancement (excuse my noobishness if my terminology is inaccurate) is part of a quest or is it able to be done by all master armoursmiths by default


I ask because my Master Armoursmith alt has no option to make these in order to use teh peko peko feathers.

You get the schematic when doing the RIS quest.

Well, okay, but anyone tried other armors with Optional Feathered attachment? Any appearance difference?

It can be used in any armor, but it doesn't alter

the appearance of it.


It's used to add an health bonus to the armor piece.

which begs the question: "Why is it a Feathered APPEARANCE Enhancement and not just a Feathered Enhancement"?

Good question.


Though I guess it would be pretty hard walking around with one of

those feathers hanging from every armor piece.


I mean, that bird is HUGE, the feathers got to be a few meters long


Not to mention it would look pretty silly

[ Layers > ] Segments > Cores > Appearance


So we have:

.segment enhancers: scales/shards/hides/plates etc ...

.appearance enhancers: feathered (from peko peko albatross) & interwoven (from aklay)

Need an armored fedora to enahnce, then you could *strut* down the street tending to your stable, if you know what I mean...

No, the Interwoven Armor Appearence Enhancer drops from the Acklay. It goes in the other appearence slot and can be used WITH a Feathered Apperarence Enhancer. No core enhancers have been found yet, nor the bio--mechanical cartridge.
