in scout i am 4/2/4/2 and i got to dathomir a lot trying to use my traps but none of them work. Should i got to easier creatures? Is there any way to get easy survival points?

Scout traps don't generally work against the higher level beasties, namely those on the adventure planets. You should look for some easier prey. Torturs or nudfuhs aer excellent critters for good trapping experience.

I personally don't think there is an easier way to get Survival experience but the holo Rangers seem to know it all so you may want to ask one of them.

That's not true at all.Almost everytrap I've thrown at enraged rancors has hit. I got roughly 1250 trapping exp per trap.

scout trapps will work on the bigger beast it depend on your trapping skills.

I wouldn't try to trap the adventure plant creatures till you hit ranger trapping 2.

to get to that point go for quenkers on dath there worth 252 trapping xp a hit and you should hit them 1/3 of the traps you throw, at scout trapping 4 everyone should hit.

servival xp: you get servival xp for wvwry camp you make so make them in practice mode use a crafting macro and your rolling in servival xp. do it in camp to get even more.

Look at his signature, BH proudly displayed... that says it all.

Probably wouldn't know if his traps worked or not. Though Pdarts do work really well, as did theglow wire.

And before he starts his flame, when he solos enraged rancors sans armor, buffs, and his myriad of specials, then and only then will I listen to him. Nailed three today, over 1k of hide in that one little lair alone.

The best way that I have seen Rangers progress up the trapping tree:

1. Get yourself a fewcrates of glow juice traps (best bang for the buck)

2. Go to Dantooine.

3. Find yourself a group that is going picket hunting.

4. Lob them one after another for the 620 (give or take) trapping XP each one will give you.

I did scout and ranger trap trees in about 4 hours. I bought a set of 70% kinetic Resit Ubese. about 20 crates of wire mesh traps. I went to corellia found a humbaba. Threw trap after trap. 164XP per. With the ubese armour I healed with a 400 power stim B once ever 15 traps. Never once got incapped. Don't wear the helmet so your mind can regen between heals.

Novice Ranger: Banthas
Trapping I: pikets, voritors, quenkers
Trapping II: more of the same
Trapping III, IV: Rancors, Grauls, Baz Nitches, Kamuriths
Trapping IV: Juvenile Krayt Dragon, not all will hit, but each one will give 2k trapping xp if i remember correctly.

Ok what does the "appearance enhancement" do?

Where do you get these? (feathered appearance enhancements) Or should I ask, Who makes them?
