Thread: PSG crates still showing up LS protection

Hello,
i am selling mostly PSG's this time, crates and singles.
but they are showing up LS protection.
now i have like 5 customers per week mailing me about my PSG not having LS protection after they purchase them.
usually i refund them, but this gets annoying.
is there any way to remove the LS protection from crates?
thats no problem on singles, just shuttle then its gone, but its about the crates.
do you guys have any solution for this problem?

Tell them that ls protection disapears after one logout if you taken them out of the crate.
So, tell them to keep them in the crate if they want to have ls protection.

I would also advise them to /bug it. As I understand this is a bug....
Also on your Vendor put up a Read Me First that says you don't refund for bugs

I pulled a PSG out of a crate, let a jedi hit me and looked at combat log.... no damage resisted
I looked at the PSG... it still said LS resist.
any ideas ?

maybe that happened cause there is no armor in this game having lightsaber protection.
so even if the crate is showing LS protection, dont expect the item to have it

Your correct No Armor. But PSG's are supposed to deflect LS's. Not that far fetched that a Energy Field would deflect an energy blade.

Sad to say that although an energy field should do it. Its like Tantel where no armor is allowed to do it. The PSG's dont actually have it. Tantel is the same where it will show LS protection at creation.

Even if it does LS resist, the LS will go right through because it is armor piercing, and PSG's aren't supposed to protect against ap attacks.

According to the BH in my guild the LS protection on PSG's works properly but only till logout or server reset. After that they loose the protection.I haven't tested this myself but I would think she tells the truth as she spends tons of credits (over 300k for a crate of imperial PSG's if I remember corectly) to use them when she hunts Jedi.

they stated a while back that no armor should be resisting lightsaber so /bug it was in the log on screen and load screens i believe

thats exactly the point whyi was not willing to refund, but you are probably right, happy customers are more important then doing the right thing, lol

PSG's have always been broken. Always have always will, the devs can't figure out how to fix anything in this game. Anyone noticed the spawns on all the planets have decreased by about 80% since last patch. All PSG's have lightsaber resists doesn't make a difference whether or not factory crate shows it. To get the LS resists out simply split the crate into seperate crates. The original will not show the LS resists but the new crate will. e.g you have a crate of 20 u then split it into a crate of 19 and 1 then pull PSG from the crate of one and poof LS resists. Upon logout this PSG will however lose all LS resists forever. I use 48% lightsaber resist PSG's this way all the time. Don't refund them their money simply explain to them how it works.
