Its because SOE, Tiggs, and TH dont have the guts to take insults about their game, and only try and avoid the problem by "locking" a thread.

My response:
Devs, I love this game as much today as I did the first time I played it well over a year ago. I think you guys have done a lot of good and gotten a lot of grief over things that you didn't deserve to get blasted for (the solo group mission nerf was necessary IMHO). But this is scary...
I've yet to try out TC5 (mostly out of fear). If it's 1/2 as bad as everyone says, SWG is about to die. And removing this guy's correspondent status seems like a MAJOR step in the wrong direction. Keep up stuff like this and you will be merging servers in 3 months. If you guys think people will jump all over a game and play it in the long-term, even if it is horrible, just because of a 2 hour movie coming out in a month, you've got another thing coming.
Try listening to people. Heck, I even agree with a lot of the stuff you guys are doing. 10 point smiths should be just about as good as 12 point smiths for a lot of reasons. ATM, AS is a nearly impossible business to enter unless you have a tremendous amount of capital.
But more and more this is seeming like it's turning into a hackneyed WoW ripoff. If I wanted a level system, I'd play WoW. If I wanted a WoW style interface, I'd play WoW. If I wanted magic classes (what docs are becoming) I'd play WoW.
And you seem to be disregarding what the player base and correspondents are telling you. And running these boards like Stalin ran the USSR is not helping.
