Now, I am taking on good faith that armor will be transferred over faithfully from the old to the new system - just log on, and its converted.

But first, I need to know, will that really be the case?

Second, will that hold true for Armor in Crates as well?

And Finally, I heard something that RIS armor, in order to be converted, would be taken to the Bothan RIS quest smith, and a core or schematic would be returned - is this true? Or can we expect RIS armor to be like all other armors, and get an automatic and appropriate conversion?

Please say the latter, because I know too many people, including myself, who have worked hard on our RIS suits, and even ADK'ed them, and giving an ADK'ed piece of RIS to a NPC and 1) Not getting a finished converted piece of armor in return, and 2) Possibly as well not getting the ADK back would be HORRIBLY upsetting.

I need to know the truth - either put my fears to rest, or let me prepare for the worst as early as possible, so I do not waste more time making RIS suit pieces....

not to mention... what about all the awesome loot we put into our suits.

we get a SCHEMATIC back??

what a waste of what went into it.

if thats the case im going to take all my ris components and have them made into non loot enhanced junk. that way i get the schematics i guess.

what is the smartest thing to do now with ris components, schems, and loot parts?

I've been hoarding components to make RIS, but I'm holding off on making anything until after the CU. I'm holding out hope that the components will remain the same, that we'll still be able to use Interwoven segments, geo cubes, NS layers/shards, etc. I'm also hoping the millions I've spent on GDK scales (and thehours I've spent hunting GDKs on my own) weren't wasted.

What about all the armorsmiths that completed the RIS Quest? Whats the status with crafting RIS?

Should I purchase more stock in KY Jelly? I feel like we're all gonna get screwed over more in this.

Bump again - I REALLY think this question NEEDS to be addressed - RIS should be converted like every other armor - NO WAY should all our hard work be put into a schematic we get back.

And the odds of that is? 1:1000?

I'll be watching and see if you can have a straight non lingering answer for any developer.

Well, it would be a simple answer - they just need to say if RIS will be ported over like all the other armors, or if we have to have them made into schematics.

Its that simple. So I am going to keep this up until I do get a response, as this is need-to-know information for ANYONE that has an RIS suit.
