Hate it when the miners try to rip us off for inshift resources. I'm rich, not stupid.

The absolute BEST is when a miner charges outrageous prices for resources, then goes and complains about armor and weapons being so expensive.

It's happening on Intrepid as well.5 cpu and up for inshift stuff and outrageous auctions for stuff that is just out of shift and/or older stuff that was literally mined into the hundreds of millions of units.

One player deemed me an "idiot" because I offered a mere 10 million credits for about 2.5 million units ofresources he had for sale. I say the "idiot" is the fool that pays 30 million or more for resources that areeasily purchased with a little effort.

Same for many of those who harvest creature organics, the ones who complain about prices and then won't hunt for anything unless it's 100cpu and they can get buckets of it just from looking at the animals *sigh*

LOL... I suppose you're talking about mr. "10cpu for in-shift Naboo fiberplast, 100cpu in a month". What a **edit**ing idiot that guy was. The only way I'm paying 100cpu for a mineable resource is if it jumps in the factory and assembles the armor by itself.

BTW, got another +3 tape, so no more bandolier to craft.

congrats on tape that made my day for the resources, i'm totally with you. I can't buy any wooly even at 300cpu because the shift was so long ago. it's going to be a problem soon, and people will start paying outrageous prices for the next good shift, which is a real bummer... btw, news of world's lightest factory made comp ever coming in a few days.. stay tuned

If people have enough money that they can spend it on others freely, and worry about 'what to spend money on', then I wouldn't complain about creature resources....

If armorsmiths have so much money that they can't figure out what to do with it, please oh please just find some really basic news and give them armor and help. I'm no where near a newbie, but I'm talking about the new players. Some of them could get a huge benefit of about 50k and a suit of ubese, given free by an armorsmith...

One of the reasons I have so much money is that I worry about my resource costs.

I don't believe in giving too much away. I honestly feel that it takes away from the new player experience, and that if given to the wrong type of person, sets them up to think that handouts are not an uncommon surprise, but an entitlement for newer players. I rarely give out credits to new combat players (I do stock cheap Mabari on my vendor from time to time), but I will give out decent amounts (100K) to new crafters if I sense that they're crafting for the love of it, not because they think it will make them rich.

*mubles under breath*

Hide Contracts and hunters on Eclipse just refuse to hunt any kind of hides that dont just have the 100 to 300 credit a unit tag on it...

Theres half way OK wooly hide on endor right now... and I want 100k for armor paddings for the wookiee armor as that armor has become my stock in trade... Yet... No one is willing to hunt reasonable prices any more...

At least I have a few good things going for me...

Several of my Wookiee Customers have been donating their time to Hunting hides for me... the few who have been helping me out are great people...

But they alone cant keep up with the demand that I need for production...

I have a jedi who picked up novice scout while grinding on his jedi xp... hes been a big help... nothing like a jedi Butcher to gather up animal hides... lol...

Oh well you do what you can when you can...
