Actually your quite wrong... marine armor stats is only 30% all around vulnerable to stun. The HAM costs are on par with Ubese armor and it can only be worn while overt rebel....

Ive been making Composite armor all night last night with 41% stats all across the board, only 8% electricity, vuln only to Stun.

My composite can be worn by anyone..... Marine armor is over rated.

Has anyone actually seen this armor? My new goal is to get a full set. Since I have gone through hell trying to wear composite armor, which as of right now I can't wear it yet, am I going to have the same problem with the marine armor? I would also really like some SSs of it.

Do the Devs intend anytime soon to make wearing armor a little more realistic? Maybeprofession based buff? A Stormtrooper trains and uses his armor all the time. Hence, his body is ucustom to wearing it. He would have a "bonus" to wear/use it.

I have seen this armor almost a full suit I'll work on a ss of it. I have a chestplate myself and it is particularily designed for it's lightweight properties so it's quite easy to wear. The helm looks spectacular best helm in the game if it were up to me. it's all chrome and looks like a decorated headress only more.. masculine in that rebel kind of way. Im looking for a full suit or at least a partial suit for myself even though Im an imp I think it would be nice to display a suit in my house/ pa

i have a full set, great armor, and looks badarse too. i only remeber the main encumbrances for the 3 big pieces so i'll post em here. also every piece has a 30% resist to all types but i believe stun, acid, and heat.

encumbrances:

helm: 225 min encumbrance

chestplate: 150 health encumbrance

leggings: 140 action encumbrance

i'm pretty sure that any other encumbrance for these pieces and all other pieces are below 25.

and as a side not, there are not bracers or gloves for the marine armor. so grab some good composite or ubese ones.

I am so frustrated by this whole armor issue. The devs should just make it so only certain classes can wear certain armor. Lets face it, composite armor should go on professions that are built to deal heavy damage and not be expected to move around as a defence.

What I don't understand, is why the devs made armor that people can only wear as a set by seriously altering their character on a temporary basis. That makes no sense to me. What are the chances I can have some Stormtrooper armor made for myself? They seem to take TONS of damage and move around just fine. Can I get the uber Stormtrooper armor too?

If you they start making certificates for armor, giving them to only certain classes (who already deal a lot fo damage), they will have to implement other "negatives" to using such armor besides encumberance.

For example, you carry a huge weapon and a full suit of composite and wanna move around at the same pace as others who only use normal clothing ?

SWG, an ever growing game...

Yeah, wearing heavy armor like that generally means your going into an intense combat area. Your looking to deal area effect damage and not pick off a target at max range. A guy wearing little/no armor and a good rifle should have at least an equal chance against a heavily armed (area effect) and heavily armored combatent.

Basically, with heavy armor your more spray and pray then simple but sweet.

What really gets me is professions that should have no business wearing heavy armor in the first place (dancers, medics... etc.). What's next? A Jawa with a rocket launcher? Or how about a Spec Ops Ewok?

I would also like to see screenshots of this armor. This is a stupid question but do you have to be overt to wear the armor?
