Does getting the FS boxes for crafting help a lot ? and does the line that gives force experimentation give you 2 more points allowing for 14 point crafters ?

Most people who have force crafting love it and notice a difference. I have tapes and master, but still get the critical fails here and there. Bigfoot is a force crafting master and he never gets them. That's enough for me!

The experimentation line does not give points. It reduces the number of critical fails during experimentation.

No it doesnt give you 2 extra points...but overall that and assembly gives better successes.

I had my sith visit today and even though im only CL 5 I had a jedi friend take them out so I have access to the village...gonna be a hard slog but ill get the trees some day, even though I might have to take up 0-0-0-3 DE to do it.

Hey i managed it with a level 1 so you should be ok for the quests. The crafter quests dont require fighting. But if your trying to unlock the tree for phase 4. Watch out. Heh. It's best to wait untill AFTER a sith raid to go in. As I found out it's rather hard getting to the npc in the middle of a raid. But it is doable

Wellf or armorsmith i'd probably suggest mabari belts or ubease shirts. Their cheap to grind on. And still give decent XP far as I know.

Ive researched this a bit and best to pick up DE 0-0-0-3 if you are able as it has the best item to grind with....which ive forgotten the name of, might be advanced droid frame or something.

I'm so glad to see that some of you managed to become FS even being lvl1. That gives me hope

So can any of you who managed to do it, giveme a quick list of the steps I should take to do it too?

Because considering that you've got to finish a few theme parks in the "classical" way of becoming FS, I'm really wondering if there's a paththat avoids ALL the fightings (knowing that in the end I will obviously have to fight the 2 sith guys).

Thanks.

Do the Mos Eisley noob quests....that gives 4 content badges and the only combat is low level. The POI's are straightforward too...the Krayt Graveyard POI can get a bit hairy though.

The only tough one is the Sith visit...when you see them coming RUN...they instaincapped me the first two times. Have friends grouped with you to take them out.

Hey I became FS by getting a few unarmed boxes... I think i got unarmed IV... and I wore armor.. This was before CU mind. But I recently helped a friend, with another toon, to do themeparks. They are really boring to do, in particularly if you are just there to help out. But if you've a good friend, ask him/her to help. You'll need at least 3 themeparks... So Jabba, Nym and Rebel/Imp. You'll need two more content badges. Either get with a group, and do two vettes, or get with a friend, and have him help you sort out the warren. Besides that, you need the three Jedi POI, a few of the "hard" poi, and a few of the easy one, as well as a master badge.

In the village, as a crafter, generally you should be ok. However, the trip out there is a *BEEEEP*. Nightsisters, Rancors, Ancient Fliers and lord knows what else, just waiting for yank you off that speeder. I suggest having some burst run food in your inv when going. As for Phase I, II and III, you are a-ok. But as an earlier poster mentioned, Phase IV is a bit tricky, as there will, periodically, be hundreds of sith soldiers, killing everything in sight. So get with a group, or take your chances and go. If the sith are there, linger in the outskirts for some time. Then go in.

My personal experience with force crafting is, that as soon as I got Experimentation I in the Force Crafting Tree, I never EVER had less than a great success... Haven't even had a moderate success since. And it's been 8 months, at least.

If is most definitely worth the effort.. Despite it being hard and tough to do. If you wanna craft better, then this is the way to go.

All the info for getting "glowy" in the new system is in the force sensitive forum. You dont have to do the corvette's or the warren anymore. Just do the mos eisley quests and some poi badges and your all set. But check out the force sensitive forum for more detailed info. Also the "quests and guides" forum has walkthroughs for all the eisley quests and many, many others you may find usefull.
