Every time I log in to SWG I feel silly trying toplay a game thathas made my character useless because of a stupid patch! I just cant shake the feeling of being robbed!

Sad but true, I tried to play just now....it lasted abut 30 minutes.

Well, I have to think they are reworking the class, to make it more fun. The thing is, they didn't get it..the reason there were so many CH's was everyone's desire to have a tank in the group, and pets were the only good tanks in game. Now that I can't KD to keep mobs off my group mates it's even worse...

Teras Kasi are lethal, nearly impossible to knock down or unbalance(Just kidding). Facing an opponent armed with ranged weapons, high-level abilities enable him to evade blaster fire and close quickly(Not really)...

I agree with you about them reworking TKA to make it better but my question now is whats the time frame we are talking about? 1 week? 2 weeks? 3 weeks? 4 weeks? more than 1 month?

Teras Kasi really shouldn't be tanks though. Our melee damage should be lower than a non-brawler elite class, and we should dodge most melee and ranged attacks, but we really shouldn't be tanks. We shouldn't even be wearing anything more than padded armor, which should carry next to zero HAM penalties given that it is just form fitting clothing with some thin pads on the outside. Heavy swordsmen and pikemen should be the tanks of the game and wear the heavy duty armor.

Vortex4,

Raph's vision of TK's is Tank/Monk, and while I like your ideas...(I wear no armor), in this game when I say tank..I mean can tank..not is tank. You can do it with defensive perks (like a TK should be) or with armor and light penaltys (like swordsman and pikeman should be) I was talking more group role which is up close and personal...

LoL ... I was just thinking about this question today. I've been on the forums waaaay too much lately. Your insinuation is very observant, though: something must really *suck* about the game if we are all spending more time here than in-game. I'm sure the devs can see this, too. They're not that oblivious (I hope).

I meant to say, "Our melee damage resistance," but I know what you mean. We shouldn't be taking massive amounts of damage, but we should be able to keep opponents away from our team mates one way or another.

Koster did not invent the Teras Kasi, nor anything else in the Star Wars universe, thus his own "vision" of what they should be is totally irellevant. Anything he does that doesn't conform to the Star Wars universe (which is *a lot* of stuff) is simply the horrible manifestation of his incredible arrogance.

If the n00b's didn't ask questions again and again . . . what would there be to post on? There's only so many "guides" that can be made, and those are all repeats too, the issues have been done to death . . . the occasional new one comes up but whenever someone starts another thread on it someone has to chime in "there's a thread on this already" . . . . *chuckles* I was just curious.
