Thread: Armor Holes Are Back!!!
But I mainly notice it when being attacked by multiple targets, when they hit at the same time, only 1 tends to get blocked. Not saying thats a cause, just when I notice it happen more.
I havent been able to figure out what causes it yet, but it happens with all armor types. Last night I was running a quest that spawned a Dark Jedi Knight, which I had no hope of killing.. I decided to attack it anyway just for fun.. I beat on it for 5 to 10 minutes with my Scythe (mainly on autofire). During that time I didnt get a single noticable hit through my armor. He was doing damage to me obviously as he was hitting for 3k+ (I was composite armored and buffed) Then I peaced and ran away to heal myself then went back in and the FIRST hit he landed hit me for 3200 damage without any armor check. I hadnt changed weapons or anything during that time.. could be just a random fluke but with that kind of damage output there is no way anyone could survive.
This DJK was not using his lightsabre either.. he was also not using force powers.. just plain ole TKM fighting style. I imagine with a sabre he would have hit for 3 or 4 times as much damage as with fists.

I saw this quite often hunting on Dantooine over the past weekend.

Thanks guys. This might be it.
So does that mean maybe it'll get fixed along with the stat shifting in pub 8? Would be very nice, also one time my armor blocked 1 point of damage, instead of 80% of 3600+, even if it was a stun attack that isn't mathematically possible as it would have blocked 0%
I really do think it's when you get hit twice or more times in a row within a second, because krayts hit so fast sometimes that you get armor holed for sure.
It's the worst when it happens in PvP to be honest there's been a few occasions when even flamethrowers have gotten through.
