Just though we should make everyone aware that the addition of cybernetic parts in the ROTW Expansion (which will give new specials and attack bonuses)CANNOT BE USED WITH ARMOR!!! DEVS have specifically stated that is is an either or scenerio. Given the attraction of added bonuses and specials to EVERY combat profession, armor value will be going way down, even more so then we anticipated.

QUESTION: ARE THE DEVS TRYING TO PHASE OUT ARMOR AND ARMORSMITH LIKE THEY DID CREATURE HANDLER???

With everything else we need to worry about with the UBER NERF OF SWG, I do not think we should overlook this. Not only is SOE kicking every armorsmith in the teeth, they are spitting on them and then laughing at us too.

the plot thickens, they really haven't thought any thing through have they. Its seems as though they were all told what each had to do and they came back and just slapped it all together at times trying to force a square peg in to a round hole. It just doesn't fit, and you would assume some one even blix would have picked up on this by now?

If you have a cybernetic arm you can't fit armor on that arm, the rest of the body can still be protected. Don't think everyone's going to run around with cyber parts either so I don't think it will hurt my business too much.

So long as it's not acase of "If you're not wearing a FULL suit, it doesn't help much", this may not be a big problem...

The cybernectic parts will also have downsides. They have said that somewhere.

You can't proclaim that cybernetic parts will be another kick to us when you don't know how they work or what they do. That's just crying wolf.

...But I wouldn't be surprised if it WAS another kick, given current ideas they have.

I'm actually getting more and more positive to cyber parts, mixing them with armor and clothing should give really cool-looking toons!

I'm pretty sure I won't have any parts changed on my characters but maybe I can hook up some friends with cool outfits!

So now everyone will be TKA ninja cyborgs, that get even more bonuses, and yet don't even need armor anymore. Welcome to the new FOTG(game not month, because everyone will be doing this)

I wanna see someone's cyborg arm short circuit and start shooting themself in the feet with their DE-10.... thatd be funny as hell.

That should happen when you get all "coked" up on Muon Gold or Neutron Pixie, you just start killing every Muther #@!$#& in the area....
