Depends on what faction you are and who controls the planet you are on. As an Imp, when I went to Rebel controlled planets or even planets that were just slightly controlled by Imperials, the cost was close to 22k. I've now found a well controlled Imperial planet and my cost has dropped significantly to around 10-11k when two days before it was 13k.
Ergil I worked out as a IMP on Lok which is the best place to buy for an IMP it worked out at 5.8m credits for all 27 schmatics.
That is with my own Master smuggler.
My AS was a Zabrak so pays more then a human. I am regrinding to a human.
I may be worth asking J'ade, she is a human, reb AS who is maing the faction armor. With all 9 Schmatics for say battle armor you can make 10 full suits.

on tatooine - starsider as a non human the shock trooper chestplate costs me 9k fp, 4500 for a helm..... I think i actually end up over the 27k... of course i dont know becuase i havent been able to try and buy a whole set. I can make RIS cheaper and easier and sell it for 10 to 15 times as much... in fact, i can gater all my own resources for RIS and make a 10 million credit profit per suit. I can sell faction armor for a million credits and just about break even.
If they were hoping to see more people in faction armor they need to work on lowering the cost substantially.
If you're an imperial mon cal, then expect to pay more. When the score is roughly even, I pay about 80,000 faction for a suit. The cheapest I've ever purchased was when the imps were winning by several hundred points and even then it cost me about 40,000 for the suit.

I'd like to know where you can even buy the schematic. I tried a recruiter and he allows me to buy the uniform but that is it. Is ita certain recruiter? Do I need to be Special Forces? I'm very confused.

Are you a master armorsmith? It's only available to them
