I somewhat understand how armor works and when I was looking at the stats for tantel armor it looks like there is no use for it. It's the same as wearing regular clothing. Can someone tell me what the difference is?

what's the difference between this and regular clothing? the armor rating on tantel is 0 so i don't see a difference.

There is no doubt a reason no one wears tantel but for RP purposes hehe

It has stats but suffers from the severly irritating stat shift bug. I don't make tantel cause it sucks, but thats just me.

Tantal armor is currently bugged. Its resists shift randomly.

Tantel armor should have biceps and bracers, or at least a "shirt" type piece that covers both. I understand that there are no pants in the set, but when Lando was wearing it he definitely had shoulder and forearm coverings.

Oh, and why can rodians not wear the helmet?

I know its not that great. I have used advanced comp for a while and am sick of looking like a clone of everyone else. So i was wondering what a master could do to this armor. If anyone has experimented with it please let me know.

I'm not sure how high the resists can go on Tantel.

I used to make one for my friend when he was still new since tantel is easy on ham.

I made them with whatever available at that time. Resists are around 25-30% range i think, but then, I only used the mediocre resources. (can't keep track of all the resources for all the armors. and dont have enough spact to put them in house. hehe.)

There are a couple of things dat you may need to know.

1. Tantel doesnt have full suits. I think it has only helm. chest and legs. mebbe boots but I dont recall.

2. Tantel doesnt have advanced segments.

3. More pain than higher level armor to make. (more critter resouces such as avian bone, bristley hides etc etc.).

Hope dat helps.

I like tantel as simple wear around armor..when i don't want to worry bout encum..but still would like a little protection it can get around 30% Resists to everything...and with an eff slicec can go around 40% which is pretty nice..equip that and a PSG and you have a nice wear around set of armor..with more Stun resist then most suits of armor

Tantel is really sketchy as it does not offer an advanced schematic. It looks really nice but is essentially newbie armor. It also has twice the componants of most high end armor like ubese. It offers no arm or hand protection either. As far as resists goes, it offers almost comparible stun resist to composite (low 30's), and excellent choice if you arent credit-plenty but need stun resist. Other resists can be experimented to high 20's low 30's depending on how many experiment points you have and teh materials you use, which is key. Avian bones rarely have decent quality, and when they do, they are usually gone before your second day of hunting.

Only 3 pieces: chest, helm, boots

No pants, no arm piece, no gloves.

so is Tantel Armor incorrect, I'm sure that the answer is somewhere out there, been looking but haven't seen it yet. Figured somewhere here might know.

Made some Tantel armor, and it has Lightsaber resistance, got the base all the way to 19% need better avain bone. So this is wrong, correct? it should not have the Lightsaber resistance. Could find a Jedi to PvP and see if it actually works or not.
