Thread: Armor Color Generator project!
i have a program (php in fact) to extract colors from a pallette image (as long as it's saved as TGA, if it's jpeg i first have to photoshop it for a few hours to get rid of the jitter) and generate the javascript code to generate the js-pallette.
the thing is, the color layers are harder to do (trying with a jpeg bh-helmet screenie i got from this forum) i'm considering learning flash/lingo and switching to SWF. or i might just generate the images with php+gdlib, gotta try. it's possible to do it (i'm talking about two or three color items) completely with js, but it will be boring. will try and see.
I need one screenshot per item. Not every color. Other than that, I'm still working on the multicolored armor part.
So, as a start, just one screenshot of an item (one of the two-colored items) would be fine. Be sure you select different (and not similar) colorsfrom both of the pallettes. Also remember i need TGA screenies. (bmp might also work but i didn't try it)

I can't remember the URL but there's a site that lists all of the current items of clothing and the exact color palette they have, sort of like what you've got. Try asking the webmaster there or something.
It's something like www.tkfashion.swg or something.
