Thread: Wow...Armor is going to be expensive...

Assault Armor Chestplate = 2,000 FP

1 FP = 100 credits (Imperial Colonel, Master Smuggler)


To "buy" a chestplate schematic will cost an AS 2 million credits, assuming they can have an alt or guildy that will do the transaction at cost. This is assuming of course, that the FP isnt stored up from running missions and whatnot...


Further broken down, each chest place, before the first component is madehas 200K invested in it....

10 use Chestplate schematic = 2000 fp


2000 fp = 2 million credits

2000 * 100 = 200,000


2000 * 110 = 220,000


so it is only 20,000 to 22,000 extra per chest for the faction skin in cost just to the AS if they buy their faction from a smuggler. This is also providing you get a planet where the price is that low depending on the state of the GCW.

i sell ass-ault armour for 2.8 mil - 4 mil


and yes its hard to come buy as in very expensive for me to get as a crafter with very little combat

problem is that with 9 pieces to a suit, thats 200,000 * 9 = 1.8 million per suit.... just to get the schems
..well ok some pieces cost less, so lets say 1.5 mill JUST to get teh schems lol... its not as big a buttload of cash as 2 mill per piece, but its still a buttload.

and 100cr/FP is very pricey ... so for a full set of Faction Armor assuming that


Chestplate (10 schems) 2000 FP

Boots (10 schms) 300 FP

Gloves (10 schems) 300 FP

Left Bicep (10 schems) 1100 FP

Left Bracer (10 schems) 1100 FP

Right Bicep (10 schems) 1100 FP

Right BRacer (10 schems) 1100 FP

Leggings (10 schems) 1100 FP

Helmet (10 schems) 1100 FP


that would be in total 9200 FP x 100cr/FP = 920,000 credits for a full armor suit schem (10 uses)


dang... so where are now your 2mio spent in credits?!?


and dont get fooled by your local Master Smuggler (colonel) read either smuggler boards how to buy / sell FP or do nothing...


GCW=Alderaan Quest completed part 1-3 ... differs from server to server


If you are GCW winning side you get 20% bonus + 10% when you got inspiration buff = 1600FP (because of the Alderaan Points)

If you are GCW loosing side you get 0 bonus + 10% when you got inspiration buff = 1375 FP


If you buy the schems on GCW winning side you get 0 bonus on buying schems.

If you buy the schems on GCW loosing side you get 30% bonus on buying schems.


And just buy your FP / schemson the most conquered Planet for your Faction.


So if you are rebel search out a planet which i.e 450 rebel to 55 imperial.

So if you are imperial search out a planet which i.e. 450 imperial to 55 rebel.

Or if you are a master pilot just go farm faction for a couple of hours.


Saturday morning I spent 3 hours farming faction enough to buy the schematics I needed to make Rebel Assault and Battle armor.


No way I am spending millions for faction points when I can get all I need in a couple hours.

Can you only farm faction as a master pilot? I am not a master and get virtually no faction in space.
