I saw it in TC just before the CU hit and was REALLY excited cause I have a MAS alt and a MBH main! Maybe it'll be a quest based armor like the RIS armor is. If anybody finds out let us know!

We knew that Mando can be made with it... but it was still made apparent that we would be able to CRAFT the BH armor instead of having to loot it now. Kinda like the Marauder armor that's ingame now. Is this gonna be a quest or was it just a mistake having it listed as Cratable BH armor in the TC?

i think it has been listed as caftable because it can be used in mando armour and i dont think it has said anywhere that you can make it after the cu

I believe one of the devs stated that they had the schematics for crafted BH armor ready, but they were waiting for an oportunity to add them to the game as new content.

OKay... so we should look for this when they decide to throw another patch in then huh? Kinda like the upside to the downside again! lol (ie. DB timer / Multi Passanger Speeders!)

the schematics can be looted off the black sun npc's that used to drop the armor itself, all pre-CU BH armor is now Crafted Bounty Hunter Armor (crappy stats on conversion too) and it can be made into the schematic for that item. you do not use the crafted bounty hunter armor to make mandalorian (you can't as a matter of fact) but you need to use the schematic at the mandalorian forges to make the mandalorian schematic, which can be crafted at the convenience of the crafter.

You can not make Mando armor from crafted BH armor. You need the looted BH from Black Suns.

I think you're wrong on that. As far asI know, black sun npcs do not drop an BH armor schematics. They only drop BH armor pieces. The devs added a patch a little while ago that gave you a radial menu option to convert "crafted BH armor" pieces into regular looted BH armor pieces, however once you do the conversion the piece is no longer equipable. This was done for all the people who had their looted BH armor pieces get converted into "crafted BH armor" with the CU. "Crafted BH armor" pieces won't work in the Mandalorian armor crafting process, which is why the devs put in the option for converting them back into regular looted pieces. I'm fairly certain there is currently no way to loot a schematic for crafting any BH armor.

I'm not sure if anyone has killed enough black sun guys to loot any BH armor yet to know if the looted stuff is still wearable or not. Black sun guys are now level 89, and since they do ranged attacks level 89 is pretty hard. Also, even if you did get a looted piece, you're not going to be able to make any Mandalorian armor. The levels of the NPCs in the DWB are so high right now that even a group of all Jedi has pretty much zero chance of making it through.
