hey guys... Im a 10pt master on Bria.. and im kind of frustrated.. I have no idea what to sell my armor for anymore. i can easily make 80% kinetic and 65% base suits, but they just dont sell for 400k... i have a bunch of mediocre 36% stun 57% base suits... most of it sliced with really low hams, or base up to 70%... sitting on my vendor for 280k per suit, and still no one buys. What can i do to increase sales?! and yes ive tried sitting in theed spamming... *SIGH*
anyone with ideas, thanks!

It depends on your server. But those are not bad resists. Try not slicing it before you sell it. Alot of people don't like that.

What is your base unlayered composite resists?
Try doing your highest triple layered stun. Call them PvP buff suits. Put all your points into the special resist and anything left put into the base...forget about encumberance for most people they don't care about.
Plus undercut your competiton by about 5k and mass produce. You'll get heavy sales.
Also consider making high kinetic ubese. It's a big seller on my server. If you can get to 75% kinetic ubese you can make some serious cash.
Also get the Imperial prototype psgs and make a ton of them. They sell like crazy too.

BLevi - I'm on Bria in the same situation. I think the market is just absolutely flooded with Master AS's right on Bria right now, not to mention the fact that all the big AS players seem to have an endless supply of nothing but the best resources (which they aren't sharing
). Beyond that even, I'm having a hellish time getting anyone to harvest orgainics for me, even when i run around offering upwards of 50 and 75 cpu to Novice Rangers.
And people trust me to repair their armor??? (innocently) "Opps, another failure . . . would you like a waypoint to my vendor?" Muhahahah!!!!!!
Just kidding on that last bit.... for now....

try selling something other than composite......radiant has a few people that are comp-smiths, and they can keep the market (one guy produces 300 suits per run......). Try selling padded armor, and selling it for a similar price. On radiant, comp sells for 130-200k a suit depending on stats, and i can sell padded for 200k a suit. I know your economy on bria is fubar thx to dupers, but if u try selling other stuff, your'll get more business. Since the wookiee armor released tue, i have had more and more composite sales, because im one of about 3 people on radiant that make the wookiee armor, and its got my name known.

Prob is though, the only time i've ever had anyone come to me asking for anything other than Comp/Ubese is for "decoration." Padded, Tantel, Chitin are not worth the time and money to gather there
On Bria, nothing seems to move cept Comp and Ubese ( haven't had a decent Neut Steel spawn in the last 5 years either . . ) and now the new Wook Hunting Armor. Everyone is starting on a level (more level anyway) playing field with this new piece, which is a decidedly refreshing break from the norm.

thats a shame, if and when i hard craft padded (75-80% kinetic), i can almost garentee ill sell 10 suits a week....thats about the requests i get......yes, tantel bites. But im guess im lucky then. I sell 20 suits of mabari/chitin a week too, we seem to get alot of new players through our town. Thus far, the only armor i cant sell is tantel chest and boots.....i sell everything else (even tant helms to new players) on a regular basis, with no issues. Its a shame, because im one of a few ARMORsmiths on my server...there is lots of composite-smiths and ubese-smiths (well a few), but very few that sell anything else, so i guess im getting most of the business there. Doesnt look good on the profession

on bloodfin i did an "oldschool Armor Week" and made about 50, 60%kin chintin suits and about 80 26% tantel suits. i sold chitin at 100k each and tantel at 50k each...as a master smith for over 11 months, who stocked about 4-5 types of comp, ubese and wookie armor it was a fresh change of pase , and i sold 80 tantel suits within 4 days and all 50 chitin in 5. so there was quite a demand for it.

Try pricing your triple layer suits at 250K per full set, then price seperate piecesfor 60K chest, 45K helm and pants, 30K all arm and boots, 16K gloves. Sell all unsliced. Charge more for triple stun if you want to...I do because I hate running those layers...4 days per fact per 1000. I price my 74% Kinetic ubese at 22K jacket, 14K helm and pants, 10K arms and boots, 8K gloves. All sell briskly.
I base my prices on the units of resources for each and a cpu sales price that allows me to profit royally from resources I harvest, nicely from resources I buy at 3-6 cpu, and break even on the expensive stuff like hide.
Hope this helps. Also, there is an crafting spreadsheet that can download from swgcraft and tell you if there are better resources than what you currently have. Has been a great help.

I'd recommend having your vendor with Planetary advertising, thats a huge plus.
Also, teaming up with other crafters to make a one-stop shopping mall GREATLY increases traffic. If you team up with a Weaponsmith and Chef, chances are you will get a lot of people to check out your vendors that initially went there to buy food/weapons.
Make sure your vendors are always well stocked: customer finds an empty armor vendor, chances are they won't be back!
