Is there a quest after the RIS armor? I mean what if someone completes it? I just started today and have located 1Gurk King hide, and have a couple friends working on the woolamander harrower bone for me. I wonder if something special happens if you get every schematic?

Final price for the entire suit was 540k. I've sold 12 suits of the armor within 2 hours of stocking and posting that above advertisement

Your total encumbrance is too high & even if you have that 5-8% stun protection, the jawa ion rifle will still be about the same dmg...jus 5-8% less. You should try experimenting more into the durability (encumbrance) side of the layers, that way you can get around 300 less total encumbrance on your armor set. Making acid layers is onlygood for jedis who are getting hunted since a BH will more than likely be using a scatter pistol w/ eyeshot or torso shot.

Now, putting all your points into the durability part of the experiment will net you better overall enc & still have good acid special protection. The layer you should try to reach is: base 2%, layer type (acid, energy, kinetic) 4-5%, action enc 2, mind enc 2.

I understand that making credits may be the first thing on your mind, but good armorsmiths look at how much they can charge first, great armorsmiths look how they can perfect their craft first. There's a big difference & there's no fine line between them.

Personally, i make 73% energy, 60% base, total enc almost 600/500/600 or so <-- estimates

Jawa ion rifle against a stun vuln suit does 150% damage. It is armor piercing 1 against AR 0 vuln composite.

Jawa ion rifle versus 8% stun composite does 100% damage minus 8% of that.

That's 92% base damage instead of 150%... Quite a reduction.

As for encumberances. They're totally irrelevant as all these people will have +1500 to +2000 stat buffs across the board when entering into PvP

Actually a slight correction - due to current rule/bugs whatever you want to call them, if the item youre attacking against is a vulnerability, theres no AP bonus applied - the AP bonus only counts if the resist is non vulnerable. For example, 100 damage AP2 vs vulnerability will be 100 damage - vs AR1 it will be 150 damage.

This is a recognised bug, but theres no idea when it'll be corrected.

Thanks a bunch for the positive feedback. Good thoughts on sockets and bugs that effect the armor. Definately will mark them down for my next run. I completely sold out my first night.. I had loaded 24 suits of armor on the vendor. Will probably raise the price on the next batch.

Just a little tip for future runs...on things like gloves (and to a lesser degree bracers/bicepts), make them until you get 4 sockets. These are the best things to put SEA's in (aside from padded belts) because they get hit the least often. I just metion that because I noticed the gloves only have 1 socket.
